The owner of tropic lady owns the bearded lady. My food came out extremely fast. This is the fastest restaurant service I ever had. I ordered the frozen pink lady margarita, supreme nachos, and the $10 smash it burger lunch special with curly fries and Roy's strawberry lemonade. The burger comes with tropic aioli and a lemon curry aioli that pairs well with the curly fries. When you order your host brings a tray full of condiments, salt, and pepper. I didn't add meat to my nachos. It's loaded with queso blanco and refried black beans. Tropic lady has parking in the back and on the street. Casey was a great host! The establishment has a vibrant summer beach vibe. I forget about this area because I'm always headed towards Main St. I will return to tropic lady, but first I need to visit the bearded lady.
Came on rainy early afternoon had the place to ourselves and few others, loved the layout and beach vibe. Our server Shay gave us an explanation on the how tos and suggestions on food and drink items.My wife had The Sarge which was blackened shrimp with mixed greens etc. Shrimp was good and the hibiscus vinaigrette was a good combination. I went with the hot dawg a jalapeno cheddar sausage with caramelized onions,grilled pineapple and horseradish mustard on a sweet Hawaiian Hoagie bun topped with ]shoestring potatoes very good wished there were more. The wife enjoyed the Pink Lady I enjoyed a THC infused drink called Sweettart which was 10mg D9 tasted good overall very enjoyable lunch.

Our experience with this restaurant has been a bit mixed. My wife and I are big fans of The Bearded Lady and came here hoping for a similar vibe. The menu is a bit more limited, and the food can be hit or miss. For instance, the nachos were fantastic on one visit, but on another, the meat wasn’t cooked well and lacked flavor. Similarly, the Smash Burgers were cooked perfectly one time, but on other visits they taste like they’re overcooked or overseasoned.
It would be great to see more menu options and appetizers, similar to The Bearded Lady. I’d also love to see a change in their soda options. It might just be me, but something about them just don’t taste quite right.
We’re planning to give it another try down the line, because we sincerely love this location and just hope they can work out the issues in consistency and some of the other kinks.

So cute! I got the coconut matcha which was delicious. We only got appetizers, but they were so good. We started with the triple mango queso, Chamoy pineapples, and bacon wrapped mango. Service was great Kasey was very attentive! Will definitely be back!!

Very new, different feel, and different takes on familiar foods. Burgers are very good, but they have their own unique sauces to give a distinctive flavor. Very friendly service and especially nice outdoor patio. Prices are a little bit pricey on some things. The basket of fries is pretty good.

I know it's the same folks, but Tropic Lady is so much better than the Bearded Lady. The negative reviewers really give off that vibe of, "I didn't understand that I had to order at the bar. It was new and scary, so I hated it." Dude, these fries and the aioli are worth coming back for on their own. They've got great drinks too! We've been a few times and have not had a single bad experience.

Full of wonderful photo ops, beautiful paintings, just an overall great ambiance. But this is a burger joint - so it’s not a place you’ll need to come in, in your Sunday best. My husband told me we were going to a romantic spot - I was surprise it wasn’t what I thought but again, I loved this place it just wasn’t what I expected.
We came on a quiet Sunday evening - beautiful entry, we seated ourselves and stopped at the bar on the way to our booth. Bartender was who took our drink order as well as our food. Not sure if this is the normal setup or that way if it’s slower. Unfortunately he didn’t have a name tag but he was great.
We ordered the smash burger and tropic last smash. Honestly, we were thrown off by the special pink aioli but man, it was delicious. This is my husband’s 2nd fav smash burger ever! My curly fries were so dang crispy! The best!
I had a pink lady cocktail and it was great! Not too strong, not too sweet, just PERFECT! My husband had a Hi Seltzer and he just thought it was okay.
All in all, a WONDERFUL visit. Cute, fun, delicious. We will definitely make this a regular place in our burger rotation.

i’m a neighbor that walks to this restaurant and I have never had a better sweet potato french fries than i had at Tropic Lady. i just love the burgers too and i especially want to say thank you to my awesome bartender Mahogany. check this place out and get a frozen margarita with your meal. you will love it!!!

The thing about hipsters opening up restaurants is that the food is either absolutely fantastic or just ok enough to not not eat it, and no matter what end of the spectrum you're on, it's overpriced. Unfortunately, this was the ladder. The tacos were not good. The refried black beans weren't really refried black beans, and the flavor was not good so I scraped them off of my tacos just to be able to eat them. The sweet potato fried were way overcooked. My husband did enjoy his burger so that was good but his fries were overcooked. The flavor profiles of everything I ate was a miss. Nothing special stood out as uniquely good that would make me return. There really isn't any service other than ordering and the bringing your food so don't expect waiters. The atmosphere was pretty cool. The decor was really dope but there is a light above the table we sat at that was flickering. If you have epilepsy then I'd be careful about that
