My husband ordered a turkey leg. I had wings with fries and a side of mac and cheese. None of the food was good. It all tasted like everything was fried in the same old oil. The macaroni…I couldn’t pin point what was wrong but it tasted off. I threw most of my food away. It’s too expensive for that. We won’t be going back.

During the week lunch, very relaxing I think on the weekends though at night it’s going to be a little busy. The only turkey is just turkey legs and the way they’re made., food is kind along the Cajun line spicy the chicken fried chicken was tender tasted good. The mashed potatoes had a little bacon. A good flavor needed more gravy though only thing is I said the chicken fried she said two sides and then when I got the bill they charged for both sides. 😏, I brought that up and they did take one off anyway., ,,,$$$

I do give a 5 star review for the service (Lala & T also Cooks ), we have been here several times and the food has been constantly on point. If your wanting a spot to soak up some great music, food and dinomite drinks-look no further. I give 4 stars for atmosphere because it has been hot once we start getting adjusted to the inside elements. Overall, you will not be disappointed with the food.

This is my second time here and both times I ordered the chicken and waffles. The first time the chicken and waffles were immaculate. The tenders were well seasoned and the waffle was dressed to perfection with their sauces.
But this time‼️‼️
The waffles were broken apart to the side where I could see black melted plastic or residue from the grill in the batter. There was something in the batter lile meat pr something that wasnt sippose to be there.
The chicken wasn't tenders but wings that were poorly battered with no taste. And the sauces were on the side.
When I tell you I was disappointed...that's an understatement because I live in Dallas and I only can get this when I get my hair done next door. I was so disappointed I will never spend money here again. It was disgusting. And its already bad enough the one skinny girl has a bad attitude like she's rushing you to order.
Clean and Calm dinning experience, absolutely fresh food and beverages , friendly staff...again Absolutely fresh! and delicious food. Catfish, shrimp beautifully cooked, slaw salad great balance. Catfish, shrimp and grits beautiful combination and wonderful flavor! First dining experience here and I'm impressed.

When I pulled up I thought they were closed as it’s dark from the outside . Beautiful place, when I walked in there was no one to greet me.There was a young man sitting at the bar(no bartender present either ). I asked if he worked there he said no but pointed toward the back of the place & I think he said she’s in the back . I drove to this place all the way from 287 & Little Road(South Arlington ) in an a SUV that requires premium gas. Finally some girl comes out and I had a menu that I got from the counter @ the front desk.
I’m standing at a table as I was headed toward the back of the place as she was coming out . I said I’ve never been here & I’ve driven a long way,she said let me get you another menu as she’s about to walk towards the infamous empty front counter the young man @ the bar hands her one over his head. Before I could even open up this menu she hits me with just so you know we will be closing I think she said in 30 minutes. She didn’t bother to greet me & ask questions she would’ve known I was going to get it to go .
I don’t much I eat leftovers .. I tasted their fish before when a friend got me some from them it was very good . I tried calling before I came & my friend said nawl they ain’t gonna answer the phone to ask what time was closing time & if open I was going order based on the selection.Sure enough they didn’t answer so in my mind I’m getting extra excited I’m like either they’re super busy or they are closed only to walk in to emptiness.
I can’t even say it was worth the drive as the interaction turned me off completely I didn’t want a thing & I was super hungry & waiting to get off of work to come check them out . This kinda reminds me of the Harolds Chicken that was in Cedar Hill that closed down great chicken terrible customer service . It’s always us I swear, to have a concierge / desk as soon as patrons enter but no greeter ? Bar with no bartender in such a nice looking place from what I could see is not good.
An older woman came out that heard what the young lady said to me & said something to the young girl & informed me that it wasn’t too late to order.!For me it was again her telling me they were closing soon I said I’ll try again another time (No I won’t). Its crazy how we try to support & as usually it typically comes with shenanigans. Wasted gas ⛽️ only looks brighter because I sat outside directly in front while I wrote this. To not answer the phone & no one to acknowledge you what’s worse is when you enter the way it’s set up you’d think you have to wait there for assistance.

Well an Hour of my life i will never get back!!!
On Wednesday, A Really Nice Gentleman came to the Property I run and asked if he could hand out some fliers for The turkey den! He raved how great the food and service was! I was super excited to try and i agreed to let him pass them out.
Fast forward to Sunday at 450pm i pop in to grab a Turkey leg sauce on the side ,dirty rice and a flat bread.
I walked in to place my order to go and waited til 510 before somewhen even acknowledged me. I should have known from that point but I placed my order and all was well. Lakers lost i checked the time and it's 540 and no food no mention of issues or even offer a soda while I wait, 10 more min pass and one of the many employees just sitting around was asked by another couple to check on there food, they got there before me. At which time I asked while your back there can you check mine too. Sure I'm told. 10 min pass and it's now 6pm (when they close) she comes back out and says sorry we have a party of 50 thats why it's taking long. Maybe I should have been told that before I ordered🤷🏻♂️. Then I asked for a refund and the lady working the bar rolls her eyes🤣😂 unbelievable. A wasted hour due to inconsideration. Party's of 50 come few and far between but loyal regular customers are who keep businesses open. Missed opportunity

Was craving a smoked turkey legs but was hesitant to make that drive from Crowley….after reading reviews I thought why not! And I’m glad I did! Great service and the restaurant was clean/inviting. Mrs. Ts personality was great from the phone (confirming Good Friday hours) to my arrival. Wasn’t sure if the food would be cold by the time I returned back home and let me tell you it was still piping hot! I ordered a regular smoked turkey legs and a soul food one w greens, yams, and Mac n cheese. It was all a 10/10 for me! I will most definitely be back and returning w my Louisiana family when they come to visit.

I had the smoked Turkey leg 🍗 with greens ( collar), and it was good. I need my turkey to be alil less cooked. It was dry a bit. I would try them again, tho.
