Dining at West Side Cafe is an old school experience worth having again, and again. While they still hand write your order ticket, their food is top shelf know matter how you cut it. On this particular day I had Chicken Fried Steak, French Fries, and Green Beans, with Homemade Hot Rolls. It was delicious, as was the service at my counter seat. Highly recommend!!

Traveling for work. Found this cafe on Google. When we pulled up and the parking lot was full we knew it had to be good. Was greeted at the door with a smile and it didn’t stop there. Service was great. Food was great. Very refreshing to be in a place wheee customer service still exists. Every employee had a smile on there face. We had breakfast. All of us was over pleased with what we had. Great place to stop at. Will stop there for sure next time we go through FT Worth.

If you like breakfast all day, you can't do better than WSC. Tonight I had the grilled pork chops, medium and eggs over medium with hash browns, toast and gravy. Eggs and chops were cooked perfectly to order. Hash browns nice and crispy outside and super soft inside. Gravy is always good. Service is always very good to excellent because they are never understaffed, even during the Covid-19 pandemic, My server, Ashton, did a great job. I'll continue to dine here weekly.

Family favorite for many years, I got the chicken fried steak, which I have to admit wasn’t quite as good as I remembered., the potatoes,cornbread,white gravy, etc. was terrific. Hubby had the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and brown gravy and it was also good. One of our family favorite dishes was the open faced roast beef sandwich and unfortunately, as we were told when we asked, they have been unable to maintain consistency of the meat delivery in the pandemic and therefore have taken it off the menu. This has been a tried and true stop for many years and still is. And our server Cameron was unbelievable!
Arrived, were seated, ordered, were served and left within 30 minutes at 1PM and despite the place hopping. There are blazingly fast with their food, and it is still clearly made to order. Excellent breakfast and lunch spot, and dinner menu looks amazing too. Very much southern comfort food, done right.

Fantastic lunch. First time here. Normally head to Paris CS but since it’s closed for remodeling decided to try this place. GREAT choice. Chicken and dumplings blew the others away. Open face roast beef sandwich was just like my Mema made. Tasty sides and delightful employees at every step. May not bother with PCS anymore. Quieter and better food! I’m a convert!

Great little place for breakfast. Like a traditional diner. The best eggs I've ever had. Attentive service. There was a line at the door before they even opened - that's how you know it's going to be good! The owner was happy to tell us much military history behind all the photos in the entrance lobby. Would definitely be a regular if we lived closer.

We ate here for dinner based on TA reviews. We ordered tilapia and grilled chicken breast, with sides of fried okra, carrots, Cole slaw( like Mom’s) cinnamon apples and cornbread. EVERYTHING was simply delicious. We had a nice chat with longtime (24yrs) mgr, Sue. She’s just one of the folks that are attentively making sure things run well. We we’re so impressed we’re going back for breakfast. It’s easy, just eat here!!

You've seen all those memes mentioning that Chick-Fil-A should be managing COVID-19 vaccines, or the government, or whatever? Forget that! My daughter and I went there around 10 am on a Sunday morning, and this busy cafe had walkins, waiting, seating, pickup orders, and serving all down to a science. Wow were we impressed! They were so busy yet got us seated quickly. The wait staff was friendly and did a great job with special requests. We had french toast and their big breakfast burrito, all amazing and cooked well, steaming as it was brought to the table. This new (for us!) cafe will be a frequent target for our future meals!
It's a Fort Worth/Benbrook treasure.
