Something is always wrong with the order. Sometimes the food overcooked or undercooked, sometimes you get a four piece instead of a six. I suggest wing stop should do an English reading and writing test before they hire. If you can’t read or count, it shouldn’t be a main aspect of your job.

I asked for well done fries and it was the complete opposite. The fries looked like they took em out too early. N they had my order sitting there for 10 plus minutes saying it wasn’t ready

We got there at 9:30pm . This girl Lupita that was the cashier, got mad when she saw us walk in and decided to be rude and have a whole attitude while we were ordering. If she doesn’t like her job , there’s many out there for her to apply .
Service is horrible. Mgr hung up in my face when asking her name. All I wanted to do was cancel my delivery order
Ordered online at 8:04pm website said it would be ready at 8:20-8:25 I gave it some time and got there at 8:40 I get there and the cashier says that my order is not ready yet, I look around and theres about 5 sets of people just waiting on their order, I look at the cooks and they are all sitting down eating wings not one cook on the fryer, meanwhile the other cashier is having a full conversation on the phone with someone, while the cashier that attended me is scrolling on her phone meanwhile all the customers including myself stand there like idiots I got pissed off and told her to cancel my order she said it would take 3-5 business days for it to go back on my card, I asked her why they were just sitting there doing nothing and her response is they are waiting on the chicken? Out of all the wingstops that I been to this one sucks bad they dont care about working there or about the customers dont go here! It sucks too because its the closest one to me but until they do something about it, its never going to get better

Title: Rude Staff, Poor Management, and Alarming Health Code Violations
I visited this Wingstop location yesterday (12/22/2024) evening (between 5 and 6 PM) to pick up an order as an independent contractor for a food delivery app. What I encountered was deeply unprofessional, and it raises serious concerns about the staff's training and compliance with health regulations.
Upon arriving to pick up the order, I explained to the employee that I could not prepare the customer’s drink due to health code regulations. Independent contractors are not certified food handlers and are not required—nor legally allowed—to prepare or handle beverages for customers. However, instead of understanding this, the staff immediately became dismissive and hostile.
When I requested a manager to clarify the situation, things only worsened. The manager, rather than resolving the issue professionally, doubled down on the claim that contractors must prepare the drinks. When I explained that it was a health code violation for anyone without a food handler certification to do so, the manager rudely dismissed the concern, stating, “We’re a franchise, not corporate, so we don’t have to follow that rule.”
Even more troubling, one of the employees admitted that they were specifically trained by the manager not to release any orders to delivery drivers unless the drivers prepared the customer’s drink themselves. They stated that if I refused to make the drink, I would have to cancel the order entirely. This instruction not only forces independent contractors into violating health protocols but also disrupts the delivery process for customers, which ultimately reflects poorly on the restaurant and the Wingstop brand as a whole.
Let me be clear:
Health Code Violation: The Texas Food Establishment Rules (TFER) §228.31 explicitly state that anyone responsible for preparing or serving food or beverages must have a valid food handler certification. Independent contractors, by definition, are not food handlers.
Consequences and Penalties: Forcing untrained individuals to handle food or beverages is a direct violation of health and safety standards, carrying fines of $50 to $500 per infraction, potential health inspections, and suspension of the establishment’s operating license in severe cases.
The manager’s behavior was unprofessional and dismissive, and their refusal to follow health codes is unacceptable. Threatening to cancel the order unless contractors violate these rules is a significant breach of ethics, health compliance, and professionalism.
This kind of behavior not only jeopardizes customer health but also harms Wingstop’s reputation. For a franchise that operates under a global brand, such practices are inexcusable.
To Wingstop Corporate: Immediate action needs to be taken at this location. The staff and manager require urgent retraining on health regulations and customer service standards. If this franchise cannot uphold basic standards, it risks damaging the entire Wingstop brand's reputation.
Until these issues are addressed, I strongly urge other delivery drivers and customers to avoid this location entirely. Your safety and professionalism deserve better than what this Wingstop offers.
