We have been going to this restaurant for about a year,it was great. Recently I went there again and the clam chowder soup was blend and looks like it came out of the can. Fish and fries was blend. Very dissapointing....Will NOT be back

Wife took me out there for a lite birthday lunch. I had the 1 piece with 3 shrimp combo. The catfish was breaded evenly, seasoned well and maintained a great crunch throughout the entire meal. Shrimp were large and tasty. Cole slaw needs a little work, but a good break from all the fried foods.

Zeke's still the same in the grease they use is so dark it almost looks like coffee. I would request that they replaced their grease but I don't own the place and that's just a concern I have about old grease cooking new food. We ordered the cod lunch with fries and found the hush puppies tasteless. The coating on the fish came off even after we broke it open and let it cool a little bit so I just went ahead and brought the car outside the fish and ate it leaving the breading on the plate. I've only been to Zeke's twice in the 20 years I've lived here in Fort Worth and I find flying fish at better option and you get a whole lot more fries. Sorry Zeke's but you need to change some things and if you're not reading these reviews maybe you should I don't know how you can keep the place open but of course look at what you offer the eating area could use a revamp and replace the wobbly furniture is hard trying to steady the table when you're trying to eat.

The hush puppies and corn nuggets were great! The fish would have been much better if there weren't any bones in it. The taste was very good. Just had to be careful of all the bones.

Everything tasted like it was fried in the same grease. French fries, overcooked, hush puppies down there burnt and very dry, Fried mushrooms tasted extremely off, which is my favorite by the way, Fried eggplant tasted like formaldehyde smells. Fish zero flavor and chicken strips dry with no seasoning no flavor. Very sad experience.
I've been going to Zeke's for 30 years and they've always had the same menu and recipes, but yesterday my hubby & I went and the food was AWFUL! The chalkboard menu was gone and the menu is now on a screen above the cashier. The batter they've always had and been known for has totally changed. We weren't even able to eat our sides (okra & mushrooms)! If I could give it a negative rating I would. Very sad 😔

I thought it was all very good, went late at night wasn’t busy at all, fast and fresh service/food.
We came back to visit the metroplex after moving to Colorado 9 years ago. We had tickets to Bass Hall and decided to go back to Zeke's. We've been enjoying since the early 80s. Loved the remodel. The food was excellent. Quality fish and chips. We wish you were up by us.

I have typically had good luck with Zeke’s, but this last order was terrible. The clams were so chewy and tough that I couldn’t eat them. The cod was rubbery and tough. My wife had the shrimp and she said it was also very chewy. Everything was either overcooked, or not at its freshest this go round.
