Everything tasted like it was fried in the same grease. French fries, overcooked, hush puppies down there burnt and very dry, Fried mushrooms tasted extremely off, which is my favorite by the way, Fried eggplant tasted like formaldehyde smells. Fish zero flavor and chicken strips dry with no seasoning no flavor. Very sad experience.

I've been going to Zeke's for 30 years and they've always had the same menu and recipes, but yesterday my hubby & I went and the food was AWFUL! The chalkboard menu was gone and the menu is now on a screen above the cashier. The batter they've always had and been known for has totally changed. We weren't even able to eat our sides (okra & mushrooms)! If I could give it a negative rating I would. Very sad 😔

We came back to visit the metroplex after moving to Colorado 9 years ago. We had tickets to Bass Hall and decided to go back to Zeke's. We've been enjoying since the early 80s. Loved
the remodel. The food was excellent. Quality fish and chips. We wish you were up by us.

I have typically had good luck with Zeke’s, but this last order was terrible. The clams were so chewy and tough that I couldn’t eat them. The cod was rubbery and tough. My wife had the shrimp and she said it was also very chewy. Everything was either overcooked, or not at its freshest this go round.

I'm I've been in ohio since 88 but grew up in fort worth... 2025 and I have STILL never had better fish... Its no wonder you're still open... Amazing...
I was introduced to this place a year ago by word of mouth and the Cod is by far, near perfect! I like the slaw also. The fried eggplant melts in your mouth, and the zucchini is great also. It's not expensive, but the prices support the quality. I eat there every couple of weeks and it does not disappoint.

We had two 4 Pcs Cod dinners. Food would've been great if I didn't have to bake it to get the excess oil out of it. Service was good and fast.

I use to come to this place 2 to 3 times a week. Portions were bigger , coleslaw use to be so good. Coleslaw tasted bad. Fish was half the size it use to be. Not impressed at all. Was not worth the 25 miles we traveled for it. Very disappointed. Tables were so messed up. Dinning room dirty
