My girlfriends and I went on a girls’ trip for the weekend, and we’re so glad we added Alexander Vineyards to our itinerary for a wine tasting. Out of all the wineries we visited, this one truly stood out — it’s one in a million! Their wine collection features top-tier brands from overseas, and each bottle we tried was exceptional. Mr. Alexander, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his collection — he made the experience both educational and fun. Alexander Vineyards also has an amazing wine club and hosts monthly events with live music and exquisite food — definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area regularly. If you’re planning a visit to Hill Country, make sure Alexander Vineyards is at the top of your list!

This is way more than a tasting!! You will learn about different kinds of grapes for making different varieties of wine! What kinds of wines to pair with what foods!
All the wines we tried were excellent!!
Alex, our wine expert, was very well educated and made our experience amazing and very delicious!! 5+ stars!!?

This was my first time to Alexander Vineyards and the wine tasting room was an incredible experience. The owner, Claude, and our wine guide, Alex, really know the intricacies of each wine and make the tasting experience very personal and memorable. Having the variety of European wines to explore various regions was a great way to find new favorite wines. There are some wine types that I would have told you before the tasting that I don’t like at all. By the end of the tasting, the ones I said I wouldn’t like ahead of time were those that I liked the best.

The tasting room is set on a beautiful property, perfect for a glass of wine while watching the sunset. It is also set-up for an optimal acoustic experience, which works well with their music choices and for having conversations.

If you’d like food with your wine, they offer a charcuterie board, which makes it even easier to stay, relax, and enjoy.

Loved the beautiful building and outdoor space. Great and attentive staff. Saturday after 3 or before 12, or anytime Sunday is the best. Excellent selected wines that are sensational. Alex, our host, was incredibly sweet and helpful. We will definitely be returning.

If I could put a 0 I would. These people are racist and they cut us ALL of for 1 person being drunk. We tried taking her home in an Uber because everyone in our group is SOBER, but they still cut everyone off for 1 persons actions. We are literally all POC’s and we believe that is a big reason why we are all kicked out.

Meh. Pretty much covers it. First off, it's not a vineyard. It's a tasting room. So false advertising right off the bat. They bring in European wines for tasting. The tasting room IS nice. Kind of a bland mid-town vibe but with hill country views. Staff was very nice and down-to-earth despite the slow jazz playing and uppity feel to the room. Wines were good. But the atmosphere was a bit stale and too contemporary for the setting in my opinion.

We came to Alexander Vineyards as the first of three stops on our winery limo tour. The wine selections here were incredible. This was our favorite of the three, primarily due to of our wine guide Alex, who was extremely knowledgeable about not only the wines we were tasting, but wine in general. I appreciated that he went above and beyond to provide us with additional information as well. Thank you for such a lovely experience Alex and Alexander Vineyards.

Great experience! Mykeala was very knowledgeable and took the time to make sure we had a wonderful, curated experience. She answered all of our questions and paired us with the perfect wine. We have been in one other time and knew we had to return on this trip. We were glad we did! We are partial to TX wines but love the Old World wines here. Highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful wine. The building is NOT equipped for events. OVER SOLD AND OVER CROWDED with limited seating and you can't move around because of the people. You need to change something. Close for the day and limit size to 30 per time slot. Expand your building. Take a look at Adega Vinho and add one bar and add additional seating.
Having an event in August? Who wants to sit outside. No one. The bathroom was just as difficult to access. I felt sorry for the ladies having to wait in line.
Now for the positive. The wines are excellent. It is nice to have a winery that offers something other than Texas wines for a change or something different. I personally love estate Texas wines but Alexander gives you something different.

We had a tour here with Brookes bubble bus, and Alexander Vineyards was our first stop of the day I will say the property is beautiful, but the staff is not very welcoming. We came in early because there was a mixup with our bus (that had nothing to do with us) So we arrived at 10 AM right when they opened. When we got inside, we were not greeted so I had to go up to the desk and the lady let me know that they weren’t open until 10 AM and they didn’t have any groups until 12.(which also came off VERY rude) Mind you it was already 10 AM when we got there and we did not PLAN the stops. They communicate through Brookes bubble bus and set everything up so the mixup had nothing to do with us again. The young lady who did our tasting was very nice and knowledgeable about everything She was the nicest staff member there overall. I wish I remembered her name but overall, I probably won’t be back.

Annabella was the best wine educator I’ve met. She’s the sweetest, the wine was fantastic and it was such a great time!

Some of the best wine on 290. Alexander vineyards has always been a hidden gem but for those that stop in they’ll be pleasantly surprised by the carefully crafted wine selection from both Texas and Europe with all very unique wine options that you won’t find anywhere else on 290!

Reservation was not ready when we arrived. Told we would be given a glass of wine while waiting and it was never given. Service was horrible! Will not be back! Too many other wineries with good service and better wine.
