*Occurred at winery on 290 but they are one and the same*. Where do I begin?! I’ll try to keep this short. Coming back from just visiting Italy, earlier this year, I was so excited when I heard about Andreucci in Fredericksburg. It was a must for our Girls Weekend. While the wines are wonderful, the customer service was horrible. I’ve read other reviews on other sites and it seems to be about the same person and lack of professionalism and outright rudeness. The owner and GM were out of town so what happened wasn’t resolved. But you work in the service industry…service is a big part. There are not enough words to describe Carlos’ behavior. Any time he didn’t like what a customer had to say, he called them “drunk”. He addressed one of our girls as “the big girl”! Who does that?!? And he did NOT apologize when called out. There were other tables complaining about his attitude. He seemed to be frustrated and had a lot going on but that doesn’t excuse him. Again, if you can’t be kind in the service industry, get out. I, for one, will never go back. In an industry that’s inundated with wineries, it’s important to stand out and have great customer service …it’s important not to fail. You guys failed. DO BETTER. BE BETTER. BE KIND! And it starts with your weakest link.

My favorite stop in the hill country! Ask for Carlos. He will take good care of you.

Wine is amazing, far as staff Carlos is the rudest person I’ve ever met. Everytime we have gone in there the last two years he’s been this way. My husband called the week before our trip to Fredricksburg for my birthday weekend to have dinner at their new restaurant, they have been posting all about on Instagram. They said they would have food on the date we were coming no reservations needed. Unfortunately, when we showed up there was no food, no communication about them not having food for the evening. I’m a member and was looking forward to the experience of the new place, Carlos was very rude and could care less about our business for the evening. Other wineries in town are very welcoming, with amazing wines.

Best wine in Fredericksburg. I am strictly rating the wine, not service, atmosphere or anything else. When I visit a tasting room in Texas, I might like one wine enough to purchase a bottle. Every wine I taste (6) at Andreucci was excellent and world class. The vineyard is located the Tuscany region of Italy, so it is interesting that they have a tasting room on Main Street and one on Hwy 290.

Carlos was extremely rude and insulted me due to my difficulty in understanding him. He was on the phone throughout the first half of our tasting. We were shocked to learn that the tasting was $15/taste which was not made clear to us when we arrived. We will not return.

My daughter arranged a wine tasting tour for my birthday. Andreucci was my favorite. Authentic, elegant, the atmosphere was perfect. Our wine expert, Carlos poured exactly what my palate desired in a red wine for my tasting. Thank you for that wonderful experience. You were amazing with our party. You are greatly appreciated! I will be back.If you enjoy fine red wines at room temperature, with extreme attention applied for proper aging, authentic, Italy family owned winery, you must visit Andreucci. You will not be disappointed. We visited the new location on this tour.

True old world feel!! The owner was there. She amazingly well discussed all the aspects of Italian wine heritage. It was so lovely to hear her version of the true version of life. Thank you for that!

I have had the pleasure and privilege of visiting Andreucci Vineyards in Pienza, Italy where the wine is produced. We had a 7 course wine dinner during our Cook in Tuscany cooking school week and I've done that two times. Absolutely fabulous! If you go to Tuscany and are close by, Andreucci's is a wonderful place to go!! I was elated to learn several years ago that Andreucci Vineyards opened a tasting room in Fredericksburg, TX. We specifically chose to spend several days based in Fredericksburg solely based on the fact Andreucci Wine Room was located there! And of course we signed up for the wine club and we continue to receive 4 bottles of (red) wine four times per year. You can opt to take the recommendations from winemaker Flavio Andreucci, or customize the order. It is excellent wine in our opinion and we enjoy it with all types of food, not just Italian food. During the visit to Fredericksburg, we tried Texas wine but it was not to our personal liking. So if you are visiting Fredericksburg, be sure to visit Andreucci Wine Room and taste for yourself.

Make sure you are prepared to buy 4 shipments of wine if you do the club. They will not make any exceptions.
