Stopped in yesterday for a wine pick up and once again a very enjoyable experience. Ryan took very good care of us and we were impressed with his knowledge about the grapes and the whole wine making process. Great wine and great people!
I had a truly disappointing experience at Augusta Vin winery. My wife and I drove all the way from Houston, excited to enjoy a weekend away from our toddlers at our favorite winery in Fredericksburg. We brought along our 3-month-old infant, only to be turned away due to a strict "no one under 21" policy. While I understand the need for rules regarding children and teenagers, it’s shocking that a quiet infant would be included in such a policy. The receptionist mentioned it was the owner's preference due to past issues, which seems excessive. As a member for five years, I’ve always praised Augusta Vin since my first visit in 2019, but this experience has left me upset and disgusted. I canceled my membership and won’t be returning. It’s a real shame, as I was once a big supporter of this place. I will no longer be promoting your business to others.
Leilani was an amazing Wine Server! I would highly recommend coming here and going to her! I have to add that the Sirens brute estate, it’s really good!
Chuck and John Martin accommodated a friend and I without a reservation, and on a Saturday! I had the Tennat Rose, enjoyable but next time John suggested I try the Sangiovese Rose. I like strawberry in my wine! Going back and most defiantly becoming a remember. The perks are great!
I used to visit this vineyard frequently with family and friends, but my last visit surprised me because now you need a membership to access the main house. We had to go to the new building for the public, and honestly, it’s not as pleasant as the other one. We had to look for another vineyard option for our future visits. A little disappointed
This place was great! Leilani provided great service, the wine was excellent and the charcuterie board was tasty.
Leilani was amazing! She is so sweet and very attentive. 100% recommend coming to this winery, very knowledgeable and great scenery!
Great wine for the most part, but the service was horrible. We booked an hour long table, and at the hour mark, we were only on our 3rd wine out of 5. The lady serving us was over all 15 tables to the right of the building. She seemed nice but with so many people, the service was inevitably horrible. The wine was pretty decent… I would recommend Barons Creek, Becker or Signor over this spot.. their service and wine are MUCH better! Very disappointing and a huge waste of time.
We just recently took a trip to Fredericksburg and visited Augusta on Veterans Day. The place was beautiful and very picturesque. What made it the best experience in our opinion was Carson. (I think that’s her name). She was incredibly knowledgeable and super friendly. We kept saying how great everything was and would come back soon just for Carson! 10/10.
We love Augusta Vin but wish we could still have tastings on the upstairs patio.
