Good atmosphere, but food is just ok. Over-fried, not very authentic, and way over-priced.

Very mediocre, low quality pseudo German food. The wiener schnitzel is typically made of pounded thin, veal cutlet not deep fried fat and greasy bone in pork chop. Chemical rolls from Walmart also have nothing to do with German or European breads. When you make the kraut you first wash it to minimize the sourness, then cook, condiment and serve it. I guess you’ve also never heard of beets, crusty pretzels, schwienshaxe, Weiss wurst or kartofelsalat, gulaschsuppe. German kitchen isn’t really sophisticated to begin with, but it definitely isn’t this.

What a great place to come! My dish was delicious — the grilled chicken breast was perfect. We were a group of ten people, and they accommodated us perfectly.

Mark was our server. He forgot our order and then didn’t bring everyone’s meal at same time. The service could have been a lot better, he blamed it on the staff in preparation area.
Potato soup was disappointing. Fried mushrooms and other food was good.

Amazing local spot for authentic German food. We had the Jager Schnitzel, Spaetzle and potatoe salad. It was better than many places we've eaten across Germany. Service was also perfect. Excellent place for dinner!

This is a tourist trap, lots of people waiting for 30-40 minutes to eat. The food was not the best, was not hot when it came out, slightly warm. The meatballs tasted like they were frozen and just heated..sausage wasn’t that great either. The waitress acted like she didn’t want to be there. Overall,I would not recommend..

I asked about desserts and the waitress verbally shared the choices with me. I asked if the cake had nuts and she said yes. I replied I can't have nuts so I'll get the strudel to go. I'm just digging into the strudel and its full of nuts. Food not that great and service obviously confused. What a waste of money as I'm tossing the strudel. Total crap! Hopefully i don't end up in the hospital.

Great, and somewhat decently priced German food. It’s not anything special, and you can probably get something just like it down the road. But if you’re in the mood for German, Auslander is perfect. Portion sizes are extremely large, splitting your plate is recommended.
