Ordered a sundae which includes 3 toppings on 3 scoops of ice cream. We ordered hot fudge, caramel, and pecans. Vanilla ice cream was pretty good but the toppings were so skimpy that the vast majority of the ice cream was eaten as plain old vanilla. A person likes to have at least a little topping with every spoonful but that was not remotely possible

The atmosphere was amazing! The outdoors and the live music made it feel really lovely, but I had high hopes for the food and the results were not what I had hoped for. The grilled cheese sandwich was very hard and stale and Any of the other food we ordered was mid. We ordered to-go but there was a long wait for the food. The food included stale ketchup. The inside of the building was very dirty and I kept stepping on spills and stains. Please take this review into consideration and fix your problems.

Visited this restaurant for the first time and could not be more disappointed. We were quickly seated however we waited about an hour to receive our food. We were close to leaving without food. The server told us that the kitchen was behind - I wish she had told us that from the start. The food was okay but my partner had a stomach ache after.

never before have i had a smashburger this scrumptious and delicious. this massive burger was a perfect combination of crunchy, juicy, and tender. the fries paired with it perfectly, every bite had me on the edge of my seat thirsting for more before i had even fully chewed my bite. truly life changing. 11/10

I’m happy to report this place is legit. There are a few burger options on the menu but I will always choose the smash burger when one is offered. Theirs is two beef patties with American cheese, green leaf lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, and house sauce on a potato bun. It all comes together very nicely, and while not a burger that blew my socks off, it was simple and really good. It’s flavorful and juicy but maybe just cooked a tad longer than I would like. If you believe life is about the sauce like I do, you’ll appreciate the extra condiments on the side to complement the house sauce. I’ll give it an A- for flavor though I wonder if on a different day they’d be an A. But The Burger Trail review only happens once so burger joints worldwide should always be on their A game. The house-made onion rings and ranch were a dynamite side and the live music on the patio made for an ideal evening. So im not the one that writes reviews, but the reason why im giving this place a very low rating is because first they got my order wrong, I ordered chicken tacos and they gave me fish tacos, if it wasnt for the chips and salsa my hubby ordered I would of ate last in my family, not cool and thank god I wasnt allergic to fish. Second, usually at any other restaurant they dont charge you for your order and they give you your order you had previously ordered to go at no charge SINCE IT WAS NOT YOUR MISTAKE. In this case this didn't, they still charged. Third my son's sliders were over cooked and meat was dry. Forth, I didnt want to say nothing because i didnt want to ruin a holiday family day. Fifth I will not return, customer service was not on point, I wasnt looking for a free meal, it's the principal of the situation in this case.

If you want a real beef burger and your in Fredericksburg, look no more. You will NOT be disappointed. I had the classic smash burger which was a 1/2 lb beef burger with fries and all the trimmings. The burger was seasoned and cooked to perfection as well as the fries. While I was waiting for my burger, I indulged in Dos Equis fully dressed from the tap. Beer was nice and cold and so refreshing going down. Many thanks to Alissa who took my order. The place also had an outdoor music for those sitting outside.
