Finally leaving a review after more than 6 visits- we come for the ambience, the wine, and Austin (the owner) and Adam (the store manager). We are treated not just as guests but as friends every time we come. We love the Chenin Blanc, the Shiraz and Cab Sauv. Give them a visit! They're a little off the Golden Blocks of Main Street, but totally worth the visit. Thanks for always giving impeccable service and kindness! We could hang there for hours, lol and sometimes do.

Stopped in on a whim when visiting Fredericksburg over the week of Christmas and fell in love with it immediately! Austin was so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about all aspects of their wine and history, it was great speaking with him and learning about the winemakers. The wine itself - superb! i don't think there was a single one we didn't enjoy immensely. If you have a chance to visit, absolutely do so.

Fantastic place for a glass or two or three of wine. The ambiance is unparalleled. A fireplace AND a couch AND a bunch of cute tables…it doesn’t get better. Adam (the bartender) was so kind and helped walk us through the selection of great wines. And they’re open late! It’s a win-win-win-win-win!

We went through 2 other high rated winery/store front wineries before landing at this delightful experience which was the only one we really would've wanted. I wish we would've started at Coordinates first!We started off trying just the first random selection and then continued onto the red reserves. Austin was very descriptive about each of the wines but also allowed us to attempt to explain what we tasted. After being at the other wineries, I had picked up a slight preference for dry red wines and noticing the layers of flavor. We went on about this and picked his brain some. He delved into the temperature/humidity in which the grapes are grown and how it affects the flavor... How the fermentation process works and how the alcohol is created from the sugar breaking down with the yeast, creating the dry feel and alcohol content.. Barrels used for aging, fresh new barrels vs once used barrels, even how they are charred. This made me relate it to how whiskey is aged in similar fashion. We talked about every intricate layer that goes into making wine of this caliber and I'm much more educated because of it.11/10 stars from us!

We went to several wineries in Fredericksburg and Coordinates was by far my favorite. Not only was the wine fantastic but the customer service was exceptional. Austin explained and went into depth about the wine making process and all that is involved with making it. Honestly, I learned more from him than any other winery we went to. It was a great experience and I can't wait to go back!

Picked up their famous frozé on the way home to the hotel and it was much needed in this Texas heat. Price was good and the wine was very delicious with hints of strawberry. Texture was nice and slushy but not overly so that I couldn't sip it. Perfect drink to end the night.
We recently spent a few days in Fredericksburg and decided to have a wine tasting evening with Austin in Coordinates Yineyard. We had the most memorable evening, Austin’s knowledge of different wines, the detail of each wine and his hospitality more than lived up to our expectation. We were then introduced to a number of Austin’s regulars and we had the best night ever, and we can’t wait to return, cant recommend Austin and Coordinates Vineyard enough

They are my number #1 place to taste wine in Fredericksburg, Texas. First you can try a sample of all their wines free. Second they have some from Texas and some from South Africa. They have a South African Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc which is outstanding! They have Exotic Wines from such exotic grapes such as Chenin Blanc and Pinotage. These are not varieties of everyday consumption. They have dry and sweet wines. They have tapas plates to eat while you sample. Indoor or outdoor seating. Hotels are at walking distance no worries! They have a real grapevine with real grapes, when in season, in the back patio.

We went in knowing almost nothing about wine and came out of the experience knowing all about the grapes in the area and how different kinds of wine are made. Not only was the experience educational, but it was low pressure and we felt welcomed to ask questions. We loved our experience so much that we went back the next day for some Froze. You owe it to yourself to stop in for a tasting.
