We visited Fredericksburg with our dog on a cold, cloudy, windy day, and we were disappointed that the dog friendly restaurants did not have heaters on their patios. That is until we came across Cultures.
There are no gluten-free markings on their menu, but our waitress was able to check with the kitchen on what was safe for us. They weren’t sure about the sausages since they don’t make the sausages on site.
We got the Classic Burger no bun with German Potato Salad and steak Tacos al Carbón with refried beans and rice. Everything was delicious!
Unsure about the gluten-free free safety, we did take Gluten Ease just in case. We felt fine after eating here and did not get sick.

We had a very bad server that never returned and made it difficult to get things fixed. Everything is fried in the same oil as the pork and menu items were fried even if they weren't on the menu as being fried.

Solid sports bar with good tvs along the back wall and bar area. Great spot to catch a game while in town. Food was good. Wings were solid. The cold draft beer is nice in a frosty mug. Live music on the patio most everyday. Solid sports bar for fred.

First time I went, I had a great time. Hung out with an aspiring bartender for hours. Second time I went, I was kicked out for standing “too close to the other guests” at a crowded bar… then three dudes came outside and socked me in the face. If you’re brown, don’t play around. I did not raise a fist, for I am not violent. We can only win this war with love. Let the fire of our hearts melt the ICE of callous indifference we suffer through on this, our native land…
I’m not even gonna romanticize this as a fun adventure. I got jumped at Cultures, arrested and held for ten hours, and was only able to post bail because a man named Justin mysteriously handed me $80 (and a box of pastries) after I preached with him unto his gathering on the nature of God. If that cash hadn’t been placed in my pocket by a divine source beyond our current understanding (and its divine agent Justin), I would still be locked up in Gillespie County Jail.
Absolute waste of a venue. No culture at Cultures. The flags are for show. See you in court.

Sign posted on the glass saying $2 tacos on Tuesday, we get in order some drinks and ask about the tacos, just to be told they dont do that 😒 on top of the fact that they have a bunch of knats flying around the beer taps. So we drank our beer and ran out as quickly as possible
Highly recommend if you're traveling to Fredericksburg and want good quality bar type food. Wings were my favorite!

Atmosphere is good. Lots of TVs with sports on and people seemed to love it. However, the service was terrible. Messed up the order, never brought silverware, and didn’t heck back in. Food mid. Had the chicken salad sandwich and some type of German sausage dish. The Rheuban was pretty good and waffles fries great. Won’t be back.
