Terrible rude bartenders.

While walking the town we came across this bar and came in for a drink. Lots of wild things to try here! Very cool atmosphere and nice bartenders. Stop in for a drink when you’re out walking Main. You can always try a flight when you don’t know what to order!

Aesthetics are nice but weak and expensive drinks

Probably one of the best drinks ive had in the town, but one of the top worst services I've had, the lady in the wine section was sweet, but the men in the cocktail bar were incredibly rude and dry. No detail on what we were ordering or suggesting, they weren't welcoming at all and just weren't having a good day we could tell. Sadly we didn't stay for seconds since they were pretty rude, but if you don't care for that and are more for the quality of drinks, then you'll enjoy it (:

Went in for a whiskey. Atmosphere pretty inviting, dark, loungy and somewhat classy, if one can find this in the part of Texas at all. Service non existent, 2 barkeepers who couldn't care less that we sat in front of the bar waiting to be served for 15 minutes. When approaching one of the gents to get advice on their whiskeys, some monosyllabic mumbling was all we could receive. The the locally produced whiskey? Flat, stale and one-dimensional but 15$ for a singke shot. Definitely not worth it.

You have to go to this place if you are visiting Fredricksburg! The staff, ambience, and drinks are next level! Had so much fun here!

An absolute Gem of Fredericksburg. The staff are incredible. The owner is personal and so accommodating. This is one of our favorite places in all of Fredericksburg. Once you walk in the door, the magic and essence of the Elk Store hit you. It is a one-of-a-kind experience that checks all the boxes for a great time and memory.

Wine bartender was really rude actually. The ambiance itself was nice and the cocktail bartender was nice. The wine bartender was condescending and not inviting. Acted like I was inconveniencing him.

Great selection of craft cocktails and a moody vibe. Some reviews say the staff is rude but I think they're just quiet and a little shy so don't let that stop you from enjoying a drink there

Loved our tasting here! Super reasonably priced and fun to pick your own five options. The gentleman pouring for us was very nice and knowledgeable too!

We enjoyed our visit over the holidays. Martin did a fantastic job at the bar with our drinks.
The atmosphere was top-shelf and what we had been looking for in a relaxing night out.

Skip the front, go straight to the back and order a mixed drink from the bar, you won't be disappointed!

come here if you want to be ignored by the bartenter for thirty minutes. me and my girl standing right in front of the bartender the whole time.
waste of time.
it would be one thing if me and my wife were acknowledged even one time. a simple, "be right with you" goes a long way. instead we sat there for half an hour and watched the bartender help other people immediately when they walked up.

Atmosphere was nice but getting a drink from the cocktail bar was almost impossible. Wine bar was fast but at this point I just asked for a bottle wine and two glass so not much service needed.
