Great selection of craft cocktails and a moody vibe. Some reviews say the staff is rude but I think they're just quiet and a little shy so don't let that stop you from enjoying a drink there

Loved our tasting here! Super reasonably priced and fun to pick your own five options. The gentleman pouring for us was very nice and knowledgeable too!

We enjoyed our visit over the holidays. Martin did a fantastic job at the bar with our drinks.
The atmosphere was top-shelf and what we had been looking for in a relaxing night out.

Skip the front, go straight to the back and order a mixed drink from the bar, you won't be disappointed!

come here if you want to be ignored by the bartenter for thirty minutes. me and my girl standing right in front of the bartender the whole time.
waste of time.
it would be one thing if me and my wife were acknowledged even one time. a simple, "be right with you" goes a long way. instead we sat there for half an hour and watched the bartender help other people immediately when they walked up.

Atmosphere was nice but getting a drink from the cocktail bar was almost impossible. Wine bar was fast but at this point I just asked for a bottle wine and two glass so not much service needed.

Stopped in to get away from the madness and for a couple glasses of wine. Dude behind the wine bar knew his stuff and the atmosphere was great.

Frozen Margaritas were so good & refreshing

The Old Fashioned cocktail at Elk store is a timeless classic that doesn't disappoint. From the moment it's served, you can tell that attention to detail is a priority here. The presentation is elegant, with a large, clear ice cube that chills the drink perfectly without diluting it too quickly. The atmosphere of the bar is laid back and enjoyable. Quiet place to enjoy a cocktail and chat with friends and family.

It's cold outside and Elk Store has the best Smoked Old Fashion in town! My husband had 3 Nuckin Futz's with their Pecan Pie Moonshine! Our favorite place in Fredericksburg!

My favorite bar! Everyone is super friendly and patient! Miguel, the head bartender is the best in the business! The drinks he makes are always amazing! The bar backs are so nice and make the best food! Obsessed with the atmosphere! Elk store is perfection!

My son and I went in to purchase PECAN PIE MOONSHINE!!! This is excellent and we drove 2 hours in order to purchase it. We were greeted by 2 gentlemen at the back bar where the hard liquor is served. They were fantastic! We had an excellent time and very much enjoyed the interaction and the recommendations. If you get a chance to stop in, it’s worth the trip. They made it extra special for us.

No one under 21 admitted, tho they serve food. Saw they would not serve 6 adults because they had a youngster on the rear outside patio where they were told by staff to go. Bartender was verbally combative. Ridiculous.

Much like the bartenders. Yup! Couldn’t be bothered to say hello. Be friendly maybe it’s for the aesthetic? But both guys couldn’t be bothered less. And if I’m paying over $20 for a mediocre old fashioned? Least you could do is smile. Yes. A woman asking a man to smile.

When one makes an old fashioned with flair such as a toasted marshmallow I’m used to being presented. Instagram worthy moment. Again the men were too busy brooding.

The drink had no taste. Very weak. For $20z you’re Fredericksburg not Vegas what is happening here?!
