Delicious peaches, friendly & kind people. Highly recommend! Stop here if you're in Fredricksburg

Best Fredericksburg peaches in Texas! Engel's peaches are the only ones I use when I make a peach cobbler. They're so wicked sweet that I have to remind myself to save them for the cobbler; otherwise I'll eat them and I have come up short on peaches for a couple of cobblers!

Friendly and helpful staff helped us pick the right peaches. The peaches were reasonably priced, fresh, and tasty. Homemade peach ice cream was fantastic! Stopping at this peach stand was a great experience.

Enjoyed stopping by and getting peaches and tomatoes during their season. The staff was helpful, and the stand itself is very charming. They also had peach ice cream and other in-season offerings.

I love this orchard. I will highly recommend this orchard. I will totally return. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I love how they have crops to buy.

Simply amazing! The orchard produces the perfect Fredericksburg . My recommendation is to ask if Autumn or Will are available as they were able to assist me in selecting the type of peach that I was looking for. I of coarse left them a pretty nice tip in gratitude if there service and knowledge of peaches. We'll for sure be back!

Love stopping by this place and loading up on some really BIG peaches. They're usually pretty good in terms of size and sweetness. There's always a few kids (I think they're part of the family) that are running the walk up operation and it's great to see them out there (so nice, polite and helpful). Definitely also try the cobbler - it's good (toss some ice cream on there while you're at it).

Second week in July, peak peach season. Try to make it out here every year; a weekend in Fredericksburg, hit a few wineries, and return to Austin loaded up with the best peaches. It's a nice way to spend the weekend. Have sampled a number of different stands over time and many trips, and find Vogel is just friendly, consistent, and convenient. They're also good on social media keeping you up to date on how the fruit is running. Peak weekend they had five types of freestones; get a sample and give them a few days to rest and you have the best peaches money can buy. Made a huge mistake this trip only getting one box of tomatoes - minimum two next time; you're not making a great tomato sandwich with grocery store tomatoes. Watermelon from Mason too. None of that silly "seedless" stuff, filled with runt white (not)seeds. It is so worth the extra effort to seed a proper watermelon.
