The wine was very good and the ambience was nice. To maximize benefit, you would need to purchase the subscription, although it may not make sense if you live far away.

Where do I start….. I am member of grape creek and was throughly looking forward to spending a day here. First, our reservation was at 3 pm and we showed up at the time of our reservation but had to wait in a line at the entrance of the members only section for 10 minutes. After waiting in the line (that was completely unnecessary and redundant), we were then escorted to ANOTHER line where the actual hostess stand was. By the time we got to the hostess stand and asked to be seated it was 3:14 to which the hostess rudely and unnecessarily said “just to let you know if you show up 15 minutes late we cancel your reservation” as if she was completely oblivious to the multiple lines we were forced to wait in for no reason. Check in process was completely disorganized but it doesn’t stop there. We then finally got seated and the food and wine staff was EXTREMELY SLOW. It took us 20-30 minutes at a time to get our orders taken and then to get ahold of them for the check. I love grape creek wine, but this service was absolutely nothing to write home about it so be prepared very slow service. The only positive experience about this was the man that helped us move tables to a spot with a better view and the wine itself.

Not the experience we were hoping for. Booked a wine tasting for my birthday. The tasting itself felt very rushed and the sales pitch to become a member was off putting. The tasting was $60 and we were in and out in about 15 minutes. When we were asked if we wanted to become members, we asked of we could have a minute to discuss it, he said sure thing and then just stood there waiting for us to make a decision. Would not give us a moment of privacy to discuss. I asked if we could sit outside on the porch and he said it was reserved for members. So either the experience at this winery was over for us or we could extend our visit with the purchase of a membership and have a glass of wine on the porch. We bought the membership and exited to have a glass on the porch and either had to purchase another glass to drink on the porch ($17 per glass) or open one of the bottles we had just bought. I’ve become a member at other vineyards and typically we would get a complimentary glass of wine as a new member perk.

Joshua provided excellent service for our day at grape creek! And Harvey was very knowledgeable about the wines we tasted and helped us pick the best for our taste. Overall great day spent!

I’m a club member at Jenblossom as well as a winery owner in the area. At my winery, quality is all we care about - Quality of our wine, venue and hospitality. Eve was our ambassador the day I brought some friends in for a tasting. She did not know I’m industry, nor did she know how high a bar we set for quality at Covington Cellars; so we weren’t getting special treatment.
Eve was magnificent leading us through the flight. She captured the stories of each wine and answered the questions her guests had with ease. She’s a natural at hospitality, and that’s been my experience each time I’ve visited Jennblossom. Quality matters here, too. Highly recommend.
