I’m visiting Fredericksburg currently and stopped at this place on my way out of town. Thanks goodness I did, service was great and I had an amazing lemon filled Bavarian donut. The coffee was good as well and I left feeling satisfied, will come here again if I ever return to the area.

The kolaches were so good!!! The sausage itself was such high quality & super tasty. The donuts were super soft and melted in our mouths. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The bathrooms were also very clean.

We needed a quick and filling breakfast that we could take on the road to Enchanted Rock, so we found this place and figured we'd get a couple of breakfast sandwiches. We got one bacon, egg, and cheese croissant, one ham, egg, and cheese croissant, one blueberry cream cheese kolache, one cream cheese kolache, and a plain glazed donut.The sandwiches were among the best quick breakfast sandwiches we'd had, but the star of the show was the plain glazed donut. It was legit one of the BEST donuts I'd ever had. 10/10 would go back for that. The kolaches were okay; there was a bit too much dough for my liking and the fillings were phenomenal, but I probably wouldn't get them again. But breakfast sandwiches and donuts? Absolutely.Big bonus that there's a drive-thru and the line moves quickly!

We spent a few days in Fredericksburg around New Years a few weeks ago, and we stopped at Hill Country Donuts and Kolaches twice for quick breakfasts on the go. While I think their larger sausage kolaches could cook for a bit longer (doughy inside), overall, the food was good (we had some meat and fruit kolaches, a breakfast taco, and coffees between our visits). The service was also great. If you're looking for a kolache or donut, this is a great local spot for it.
