Tonya G was our server last night and she was great! We were craving a steak dinner on our first night in Fredericksburg and I’m glad we picked this place. It’s a half block off of Main Street and on a Friday night, we were glad they weren’t too busy and got sat right away. Tonya was friendly and attentive and made sure our drinks stayed topped off without having to ask which I really appreciate. Steaks were cooked perfectly and the sides were yummy. We also had the cow-lamari for our appetizer and it was delicious - the jalapeno ranch dressing was so tasty. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.

I absolutely loved my dining experience at Hitchin' Post Steakhouse! The sirloin steak with mashed potatoes was simply divine. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, while the mash potato was creamy and flavorful. A truly exceptional meal that I would highly recommend to anyone. 5 stars!

I got the 1lb ribeye with the cow-lamari.Oh boy the cow-lamari was damn good. What a simple and genius idea for an app. I would eat this everyday. The dip was great.The ribeye was grilled perfect, had awesome hatch marks and came out pretty quick. Not much to complain about.My bartender was alright.The room is meh, definitely not my style. I didn't think the bar chairs were particularly comfortable.
