We dined here as a party of three — myself, my 63-year-old mother, and my 80-year-old grandmother. Dinner was lovely until the very end, which unfortunately left a disappointing impression.
As we were wrapping up, our waitress, Allison, told us that if we left a 5-star review she would bring a complimentary espresso martini. I agreed. My mom jokingly asked for one as well, and Allison said she could only comp one — totally fine.
However, after offering the drink, the entire tone shifted. The martinis arrived with a comment that we needed to “drink fast” because we were over our 90-minute time limit. Shortly after, the hostess came by to tell us to hurry as well.
It felt incredibly awkward and frankly unprofessional. If there is a strict time limit, it seems inappropriate to encourage guests to order additional drinks — especially in exchange for a positive review — and then pressure them to rush. The mood change was night and day.
For what presents itself as a 5-star restaurant, the hospitality at the end of our meal fell short. No guest, especially an elderly grandmother, should feel hurried out after being offered a drink by the staff.
We left feeling uncomfortable instead of cared for, which is unfortunate because the evening had started so nicely

Quite possibly the best steak I've ever had. Perfect Pittsburgh rare filet.
We dropped in on a weeknight expecting you to be slow and it was packed... So make a reservation! The hostess seated us even though she had a reservation in an hour, or else we would have missed this experience entirely.
There was a husband and wife who played violin and bass while we ate who really set the mood.
It's worth a trip to Fredericksburg just to eat here.

Kyle was unbelievably the best waiter I’ve ever had. He brought us all of our favorites and was on top of all the specials. He brought me a special birthday present too. That was so sweet.

Wow! What a steak! We had the 16 oz ribeye & Brussel sprouts ( I don't usually like them but they were amazing). Served by Megan who was delightfully friendly and great at pairing the perfect wine for the steak. And talked us into the bread which we did not regret at all. Thank you for wonderful food, great service and an experience to remember.

Really enjoyed eating here. We didn’t have reservations and just dropped in and they were super busy but found us patio seating. It was cold out but they have heated lamps and went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable. Our waiter, Carlos, was amazing - very funny and attentive. Food was excellent all around. Highly recommend!
