Tim at Longhorn was fantastic. No fluff, straight shooter and calls it like it is. Very refreshing and great recommendations from him. 10/10 would highly recommend. Ask for Tim!

I stopped by randomly while driving through the area and picked up a bottle of wine. Bartender was friendly and helpful in making my selection. Ended up picking this wonderful bottle that was excellent. I would gladly return

Gary was knowledgeable and so friendly. Make it a point to look for him on your next visit. They had a number of excellent wines. Gary gave us star treatment. Thanks Gary, your new friends from Surfside Beach.

Some wineries in Fredericksburg seem like they cater to the elite. My husband and I are school teachers and felt instantly welcomed at Longhorn Cellars. The atmosphere is relaxed but professional. Tim provided exceptional service. We visited LC all three days of our visit. The indoor and outdoor seating is excellent.

Longhorn is not a winery and they do not provide tastings-Longhorn is a bar that serves small samples of mediocre wine. The bartenders read the descriptions on the wine bottles and spews it out as they pour. We asked for water and the bartender said he would sell us a bottle for $1 and said, “cheaper than a convenience store”. He slammed the bottle of water on the bar and turned around. I asked him for glasses and he, very begrudgingly, slammed one glass down. I had to beg him for 2 more glasses. The tiny guy behind the bar rolled his eyes and stomped off like a spoiled child. Bars and wineries have to provide access to free water-it’s the law.
We barely made it through the six swallows, paid our $100 tab and left. Longhorn is a pitiful example of a winery and should not be on same list as the real wineries around Fredericksburg.
Rude, unappreciative, and ignorant.

I'm visiting from NC and my friends took me to Fredericksburg for lunch and do some wine tastings! I love wine and I drive for a wine tour company. So on vacation, it's my turn to do some tastings.I wanted to stop here as I saw the Longhorn statue standing out in front. The winery is beautiful. I loved the atmosphere of the tasting room. We were welcomed as we walked it. I was hoping to do a tasting but the wines were not what I would drink, which is fine, and also I really didn't want to pay the $30 for the tasting that I most likely wouldn't enjoy.I gave them 5 stars because of the outside view of the winery, the atmosphere in the tasting room and the friendliness of the staff! I'm not going to dock them a star because of my preference for wine. To each their own!

Having visited many wineries in the Texas Hill Country, I can confidently say this is by far the best winery in the area. The staff and owners are super friendly, the award winning wines are delicious. It’s a great vibe to hang out with friends and pets. I’ll be back, and soon!
