Salsa was watery, like spicy water. Chips were cold. Enchiladas were good.

Great food. Fair prices and great drinks. Margaritas are really good but if you’re looking for a stout drink ask for one of their Mexican Martinis.
Friday night , this place was empty . Ordered some drinks , not made very well .. group of 4 adults with 3 kids , they charged gratuity of 20% after serving mediocre food and drinks .. kinds food was also not good

1. The breakfast menu is misleading about which plates include beans and potatoes. The menu clearly says items with ** do not include them, but many items where they don’t include them are not marked.
2. They billed me $13 for an $11 omelette (menu price)
3. They billed me $6 for tacos that should’ve cost $5 (according to menu price)
4. Wife ordered 1 x $2.50 breakfast taco, they brought 2 and charged $3.00 for each one.
5. Waitress Ruth told me it was $2.00 to add potatoes to the plate. Charged me $3.50 otherwise she was polite.
The decent quality of the food is overshadowed by very bad billing practices. They should just be upfront about costs and stick to what they print on the menu.

Well, it might tell you something when the place never has more than 3 customers at a time.

Taco shells were too hard to chew and tasted nasty and old. Lettuce was partially old, wilted and black. Waitress said she'd tell the cook. No solution offered. Business not recommended.

Horrendous place. I got terrible food poisoning, diarrhea and vomiting 2h after eating there. My family and I would never go back to that place. Today is the date when I ate in that place.

Mi Pueblo was clean but seemed kinda sterile compared to most Mexican restaurants I've been in.
Surprisingly no chips and salsa to start. Or maybe that's not common here in Fredericksburg. The tortilla soup was so bland I thought Norwegians might be in the kitchen. I envisioned the carnitas to be succulent cubes of pork slowly cooked in fat then crisped up under the broiler and seasoned with I dunno - salt, pepper, oregano, garlic, cumin, coriander, and finished with a squeeze of orange or lime like they do in mi pueblito en Colima, Mexico. This version was shredded and fried to overdone and had the hard chewy consistency of jerky but was unseasoned. Maybe the culinary strengths are in their other dishes.

Clean, spacious dining room. Fast, attentive service. Reasonably priced, well prepared, generously portioned, good tasting food. I would definitely eat there again and can recommend them without reservation
