A wonderful casual Mexican inspired well executed cuisine. Our party of four enjoyed lunch at this restaurant. It is very casual and comfortable. All of our food was cooked and seasoned to perfection. We definitely would return visit this restaurant when we when we return to Fredericksburg. Outstanding execution in a comfortable laidback nicely restored old store. e.g. My brother in law and I had fish and chips, which were the best we have ever eaten. My wife had coconut shrimp that she said were the best she ever had. My sister in law had another shrimp dish that she said was outstanding.
Summary: simply outstanding cooking in a very pleasant casual comfortable building. Service was helpful and pleasant.

We were on our way through Fredericksburg and decided to stop in based on so many positive Google reviews as well as what I saw on the menu. We were looking for something casual and fresh.
At first, the menu struck us a bit pricey. HOWEVER, the food *quality* and *quantity* absolutely justified the price. We started with the crab nachos - which were fantastic and a huge serving. In fact most of the appetizers we saw were large enough to be a meal for most people.
We then had the fish and chip platter and also the Nury's spicy burger - both amazing. The fries were super fresh and tasted as though they were fried in tallow (I forgot to ask about that specifically) - they were hot, fresh and had the perfect crunch.
We also appreciated the classy music vibe and an atmosphere that made it easy to visit. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I visited a couple of years ago and it was great but we visited there this past weekend and we were extremely disappointed. The server told us we couldn’t set at the bar because of the fruit flies. We ordered the street tacos and the meat looked like it belonged in chili. We weren’t impressed.

Menu includes, Huevos Rancheros, Chilaquiles, Ham and Eggs, street tacos, enchiladas, salads or quick snacks like, crab nachos, ceviche. Mimosas and drinks also served. We had the Sea Food Stack which very fresh, and filling at the same time. The staff was very welcoming, and prices are fair for the portion sizes and quality. Highly recommend checking them out.

Had so many bad experience with crap food in Fredericksburg till we found this great place . Than realized owner in the kitchen and whole family is on the dining floor. Can’t get better food from soul . Chef Nury does take pride of her dishes and special sea food must try like Baja California fusion food is delicious. Between I’m chef my self ( worked in NYC , S. California and Miami restaurants so I know what real food is ;)
