Pecan Grove Store

Out riding the Hill Country backcountry discovery route TXHCBDRx on adventure motorcycles. This restaurant was not far off the track, so we went for lunch. We all really enjoyed it.
They have veggie 🌱 burgers. The fries were plentiful and good. I wish they had fountain drinks and ice.

It's not like it used to be. They obviously change their meat and their meat spicing.

It used to have a very distinctive spice profile.

And whatever the burger's name is that has the blue cheese and the buffalo sauce. It is way too wet.

Worst experience we’ve had in a long time!! It was our first time visiting the Pecan Grove Store. Feels like a fun, historical building but the burgers were not good. We feel so deceived by previous reviews. It look them 45 minutes to get us our 2 burgers and fries. The burger patty had no seasoning and was very bland. A tiny piece of white bib lettuce with a nothing special bun. I was thankful that at least the seasoned fries were good so I didn’t leave hangry and had something to eat. I took one bite of the burger and spit it out. Not worth the hype nor the drive!! Very disappointed!

Exactly as described on Website. HUGE 1/2 pound burgers. Super friendly staff and fast service. Beautiful outdoor sitting area. The indoor space is like stepping back in time. My friends grandson was fascinated by the old rotary pay phone. Casual dress absolutely acceptable. We will return when we crave a delicious burger and fries!

Great burgers but beer wasn't very cold. Beautiful ride to and from there and nice, quiet and peaceful scenery and area. Highly recommend going here!
