great burger joint with all the ambiance of a truck stop, but man the food is great. did I mention the onion rings that come out hot enough to burn your tongue off. amazing ground beef and the burger choices are endless. The old place across the street still was the funnest little joint anywhere, but the food is still the same. Every time I'm through Fredericksburg I need to eat were the local crews eat, far from the tourist side of town
After hiking up Enchanted Rock in the morning my fiance and I were starving and craving cheeseburgers. I really liked their thing about having the meat delivered daily from the local market so I was down to give this place a try. I ordered the Double Meat Double Cheese (plain) and I swear this was the best freaking burger I've ever had in my entire life! Amazing Burgers and super friendly service, we really couldn't have asked for a better lunch spot before heading home....
This is the best burger place in Fredericksburg now that Jennie's Smoked Burgers has closed permanently (which was the 1st best burger). As locals, we now refer visitors to Porky's Hamburgers to eat when they want a delicious burger. Their philly cheese steak is good, too. I wish their onion rings weren't as greasy as they are, but they are tasty. Good location, just on the west outskirts of town. Great off-street parking. Very friendly staff.
