Wowza!! After browsing a few shops, we stopped by this cute little bakery that had a very inviting storefront and I guess the hubs had a sweet tooth. I thought I was full from the pizza we had maybe just over an hour earlier....BUT after looking at the huge pastries, cookies and desserts, I HAD to try them! They had interesting combinations so the hubs chose a huge Coconut Macaroon, a Cinnamon Toast Marshmallow Cookie and a Whiskey Bacon Pretzel Chocolate Chip Cookie. Yeah....that was a mouthful and we definitely had to show restraint. I really wanted to order more to take home but it's Thanksgiving coming up and I know I'll be baking and ordering more pies and eating savory comfort food these next few weeks. A little over $11 total and we sat down outside on a bench to try our treats. Verdict:*The Coconut Macaroon was soft, chewy and not overly sweet, just really fresh and satisfying. I just took a couple of bites. It was the perfect portion size for one. You have to eat it fresh.*The Cinnamon Toast Marshmallow Cookie wasn't what I expected. It wasn't like I was eating Cinnamon Toast as I didn't really taste a heavy Cinnamon flavor. The best way I could describe it was that it was like I was eating a Rice Krispy Treat cookie, flavor-wise. The marshmallow was gooey and coming out of the sweet cookie. The cookie was also huge and soft in the middle, crispier around the edges. I could only eat a couple of bites and chose the crispier edges.*The Whiskey Bacon Pretzel Chocolate Chip Cookie was da bomb!! You could definitely taste the liquor/whiskey flavor profile so kudos to the bakers for really making it come thru. I hate when a dish says it has alcohol but you can't taste it. The flavors combined and textures really melded together well. You could taste everything from the bacon to the crunchy pretzel and chocolate chip. Bravo!!! It was also soft in the middle and crispier around the edges. If you're in the area, it's a definite must. Service was friendly and they also have beverages and iced coffee. You def need milk, water or coffee to wash the sweetness down. It was nice to find a new dessert shop!

Wow this is really a gem in Fredericksburg!! Everything we had was so FRESH! Rare for most bakeries I feel nowadays. German Chocolate cupcake, apple crisp, and apple strudel were to die for!!

I barely made it out the door without devouring the whole pretzel. It was soooo delicious. If I wasn't going to brunch, I would buy another pretzel. I hung outside on the bench while finishing my soft, pillowy pretzel while telling walking bystanders they needed to go try this place. Everything you see in the window is as advertised!

We came here twice because it was so yummy! My husband was a big fan of the pretzel rolls. We also tried the sweet pecan pretzel, cowboy cookies (yummy!), German chocolate cupcake, lemon cookie, and a few other things. Everything was fresh and really yummy! This is a great place for an afternoon sweet snack!

So glad we stopped to check out this small sweet shop! We purchased a few cookies, chocolate chunks macadamia and the oatmeal ? they had so many other pastries. Staff was very nice and friendly. Definitely will visit again if we ever come back to Fredicksburg.

Why bother with a sit down breakfast when you can come here? Both pretzels were amazing. Everything tasted fresh. There is no place to sit and eat, but there are city benches along the sidewalk and a park nearby.

Cute little bakery with a German flare. Apple strudel, coconut macaron and apple crisp are slightly too sweet for my taste, but are exactly how I had it in Germany.

Perfect bakery to grab some sweets before heading back to our cabin. The apple strudel made for a perfect breakfast for the next morning with a cup of coffee, and the pretzel is a unique and delicious treat!

I thought the pastries were a little expensive compared to other places, but everything we tried was really good.

cute tiny little shop right on Main Street. We had the hot pretzels. Pretzels are gorgeous in the case. Display case full of goodies. Plenty of salt on the pretzel (simply rub off what you want.) You can have them warm it up for you. Cheese or mustard dip by request. Soft & chewy.
