My parent's have been Safari members for almost two years now. My husband and I had been before and enjoyed our time there. We went to Fredericksburg to celebrate my 30th birthday. The day before my birthday, we went to the winery and Casey took care of us, she was absolutely FABULOUS. So attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel like royalty. She was so good my husband and I decided to become members as well. We all had a few glasses of wine and spent a few hundred dollars in bottles as well.The next day we went back for my actual birthday since they told us I would get a free wineglass. Since we were members as well, I asked if I could also have my birthday glass and the girl said "no I can't do that, you can pretend this is your birthday glass."I was a bit disappointed and just how different the experience was from the day before. She messed up, because if she had given me my birthday glass, the rest of my family (my husband and parents) would have purchased an additional glass themselves to keep me company while I celebrated my birthday.Shoutout to Casey though, if it hadn't been for her, we probably wouldn't be members right now!

As members of Safari, we brought our daughter and son-in-law to enjoy the wonderful wine and atmosphere.Casey (KC) was in charge of our group and she was so knowledgable, professional, friendly and fun that our guests decided to join the club as well.On the other hand, we came back the next day to celebrate our daughters 30th birthday (yes, that day was her exact birthday), and even though we were all member now, the person that served us, denied any special treatment for the birthday girl by telling us that "as members, we already had a complimentary glass of wine".We left very dissapointed by the second treatment they (she) gave us.

Wine was very unique and prolly the best of any tours we had. Our guide talked the entire time though so the other person with me and I couldn’t chat and drink our wine, which was unfortunate.

My mother and I had a lovely experience. Wine tasting was wonderful and outside was beautiful. The service was great however, Ashley needs an attitude adjustment. Just wasn’t a ray of sunshine like everyone else was. But other than that it was amazing!

A very unique tasting experience.. while the wines are not from Texas it was still really great! The place is owned by I believe to 7th generation family there in Fredricksburg. They have a love for travel and that's the concept. So the wines are designed and made in other countries for them. We brought home the Pinotage from South Africa... which is so delicious. If you like a jammy,smokey wine.. You'll love it!
