Sozial Haus is a Fredericksburg staple. It’s got beer, football, amazing food, and great atmosphere. I had the best gyro ever and my sister got an Italian panini. Both so good. Highly recommend!!

We went for lunch on Sunday. The food was good. The staff and ambiance were AMAZING. The beer was great. We had a bonus...live music. Just a guy and his guitar. Couldn't have asked for a better lunch.
Parking: Free parking is directly across the street if no street parking is available.
Kid-friendliness: Similar to a bar and grill. More focus on the grill. The bar is at the entrance with plenty of seating in other rooms or outside.

This bis one of our favorite places in Fredericksburg and have suggested it to many going fir a visit there. This time the service was negative stars. Our wait person was the absolute worst. She brought our appetizer with no plates or silverware. I had to get up and ask for it. Also was short and very rude!

I have eaten here many times over the years, the food is always delicious! But the last two times we visited it was hard to enjoy our food due to the flies coming from the door that stays open from the inside going to the patio. Hopefully this will be resolved soon, I love coming here.

All of the food was okay. Definitely not worth the price and won't be coming back. For $17, a French dip sandwich should be more than slightly warm roast beef on a soggy bun with flavor-free dip and the wrong side. Inattentive waiter. The menu is out of date; they don't have things like hot chocolate and fountain drinks printed on the menu.
Sandwich was delicious and came out incredibly fast. Sever was friendly and attention even with the crowd. He offered us to go drinks without even asking. The inside is bar style and found it a little chilly, but the outside patio is wonderful with plenty of trees to enjoy.
Wheelchair accessibility: Outside patio seemed to have a ramp for wheelchair accessibility.

First night in Fredericksburg and was late planning a meal. Stumbled into this place because pizza and beer sounded appealing. The waiter and service was great. He informed us of the special on pitchers of beer, which was nice. The pizza and side salad was good. The house has some history and you can read or ask about it. We didn't try the desserts, but they looked awesome. Nice place and glad we tried it.
