This is one amazing little place. The menu was surprisingly upscale. Delicious and surprising! Best pumpkin cheesecake I've ever had, we came back and bought some for Thanksgiving, which our guests were grateful for!
We LOVED IT! Off the beaten path but well worth it. The owner Edie was so friendly and funny! Customer service was awesome and the food was great!! This place will be a regular place to visit whenever we are in the Fredericksburg area.
Charming place. The curly fries were wonderful. Super nice to sit out there on a nice day. Recommended. You can visit Petunia; the black pig.
Delicious food. Great cozy atmosphere. Extremely friendly owner and, best of all, awesome furry companions!
Thank you for a fantastic burger. Tasted great. Glad we came and tried your place. Have a great 2019.
Real good time & chill atmosphere .
Food trailer with building structure for eating. Nice place. Friendly folks. Dog friendly. Food is really good, I had the best BLT I've had in a long while. Also, was the only thing with pork lol 😄. Meant to get a burger at Alamo Springs but they were closed (due to family vacation ha!).
Fun place to stop while exploring the Texas Hill Country. The tasty food and friendly service are worth seeking this place out.
Delicious, authentic, literally the best catfish I've ever eaten in my adult life. I make sure to eat here every single time it's on the way.
Amazing Burger!! Found a gem off the beaten path, that was recommended to us by a local. We went to see the bats at the Old Tunnel State Park and we asked several people about the restaurant next door... they all recommended going about 1.75mi down the street to the Black Pig. The owner is a friendly lady with excellent attention to detail. The meat was fresh, not frozen or bulk stuff. The cheese was fresh made by a local Texas farmer. The thick bacon was crispy. The huge tomato slices were firm. The cheese curds and fries were to die for. When I got back, I was talking about this place with a co-worker, and they had been there as well and had just as great of an experience. Keep up the great work!

Great food. Friendly people. Relaxed atmosphere. Definitely a must visit place!
Love the food wagon. Very good food and worth the drive.
We loved The Black Pig (especially Petunia!) - it was the perfect first stop on our Bachelorette Weekend in Fredericksburg. Great food, great atmosphere and phenomenal hospitality. Thanks y'all!
We loved eating at The Black Pig! The food is all freshly made, fresh prep, so plan a bit of extra time, but we'll worth the wait! The burgers are huge! Shrimp platter is good, hamburger steak, more! Generous portions! Indoor and outdoor seating, informal. Staff and owner are amazingly friendly!
Fantastic food! Amazing desserts! Always a win, except when they are super busy. Food takes some time when you can only cook a couple of orders at a time in a tiny food truck! Wait had always been well worth it!! And you MUST pet Petunia(THE black pig) and Wendel (your best friend when you have cat fish black kitty).
