Exceptional wines for every palette and priced lower than most wines on the wine trail. Highly recommended.
Stopped in and had a tasting. The staff is gracious and welcoming and it felt so comfortable in the venue. We found some DeLiCIoUs wines. I had the mixed flight and fell in love with several whites: Trebbiano, Muscat blanc Sec ( not too sweet) and Bridal Bliss. Loved the rose’ Castenet. The Tannat Is bright and full of flavor! What a great time!
They have a great selection of wines to choose from! Get the membership, enjoy the patio and enjoy the staff! The ambiance and treatment me for me are 100/100. We come back every 3 months to get away from the city bustle and we come here every time. Salud!
The hubs and I stop here every time we are in Fredericksburg. Heather always greets us warmly, is knowledgeable regarding their line and new options, goes out of her way to accommodate and ensure we enjoy our visit. We are here at least quarterly. The outdoor space is large and clean. Environment is cigar friendly! Big plus for us. Highly recommend. Off the beaten path away from town.
I’ve been a Wedding Oak member since the first winery opened in San Saba Texas. The owners are dear wonderful people, who have a great love for good wine, our Lone Star State and truly know the meaning of hospitality! There are many wineries in Fredericksburg to visit however I encourage you to stop by Wedding Oak first, you will not be disappointed! Cheers!🍷
Ok, to be fair, we didn't stop at the Fredericksburg location.. we stopped at the original location in San Saba.. but I feel if you're in Fredericksburg, this winery should be on your stop! We had a GREAT red and apparently they are an award winning Rosè wine maker. We grabbed a bottle to take home with us and also a bottle of their chignon blanc.. apparently the wine maker is an artist with white wines! These are Texas grown grapes! We're not white wine drinkers, but like to have some nice white wines or rose at home for guests. Great service, great wine! Give them a try!
Had a wonderful time and the wine was amazing! Highly recommend stopping by for good wine and a relaxing time!
My wife and I were looking for wine tastings on our honeymoon. There are a lot of large wineries in the area, but the name caught our eye for obvious reasons. It was everything we were looking for. Bruce was extremely knowledgeable. He took his time to walk us through everything we were tasting. We loved the experience, and would happily return
Passport tasters have to stand at the bar. Erin, our guide, told us $5 extra if she has to walk over to your table. I didnt feel like any other wineries treated us different for using the passport. We bought a lot of wine over the weekend, but none here!
My daughter and I visited the winery for a tasting today and had the pleasure of meeting Bruce. He was such a delight! He is INCREDIBLY knowledgeable and informative about the wine making process. He explained in detail things like why air is good and bad for your wine, how to properly taste your wine, the difference between the types of wines, etc. overall this was such a wonderful experience.

Shelly did an amazing job at our wine tasting and was very informative & in depth.
This was our first trip to Fredericksburg. We spent the day with our daughter and son in law who are from TX. We took the trolley tour today and Wedding Oak was our first stop. Shellie was our server and she was very informative about the wines as well of the history of the winery. We enjoyed her and enjoyed the wine
Very welcoming environment, peaceful outdoor patio. We did a wine tasting with Shelly, she was very knowledgeable and took time with us to answer all our questions. Reasonable priced wine tasting and great wines.
Shelly was amazing! Not only did she educate us she kept us entertained… 10/10 .. She made sure we had a fantastic time as we celebrated my birthday “clueless” style :)
Came in late, about 30 minutes before closing time. We had seen the Wedding Oak Winery in San Saba, but didn't stop there. We had heard good things about this wine, so popped into the tasting room late one day. Heather was courteous and accommodating, despite being close to wrapping up. We tried a bottle of the Red Wind, which was outstanding. The visit was short, because we didn't want to keep Heather longer, but she was very nice and never made us feel rushed. Great short visit. We'll visit the winery in San Saba soon.
