We moved to Freeport in January of 2024 and soon discovered Billy's. The spot seems to be a favorite amongst locals and we have since made it tradition to stop by every Friday for a few donuts and kolaches. The staff is great and freidnly. The donuts are amazing, super soft and fresh. The kolaches are great. Just the right amount of sweet for the bread to go along with the real texas sausage. Blows shipleys out of the water if you ask me. Overall a great place and hope it...
Never has Billy's disappointed. I don't stray from my favorites so I cant speak for everything but their sausage and cheese kolaches and donut holes are the best in the area.
I absolutely love the croissants here and have not been able to find anywhere else that makes them like this. The homeaid croissant bread is so flakey you will have flakes all over your shirt after you eat it. The ham is not the thick cut actual ham but instead thin sliced with the ooey gooey swiss cheese in the middle. YUMM. We make a point to go to Freeport from Houston at least once a month for these.
