We come to Surfside yearly w our teen/adult kids. We have tried beachfront bar and grill(2x), red snapper inn and that may be it. We loved Captain’s table. We had 10 in our party. Sat on the 3rd floor. We had 8 entrees, 4 apps, 4 beers, 2 mix drinks and several “cokes”. Our total was $313. Waitress was awesome. She didn’t grat us. So she got more than 20%. The Boudin balls were bomb. We will def be back!! Oh also had live music on a Thursday.
Live country cover music, amazing food, great atmosphere overlooking the boat docks and superb service.My party of (9) arrived at 5pm on Saturday evening without reservation, (didn’t know we needed one), however, they quickly gave us options that would accommodate us just fine.Come to find out later, they were running on half the usual servers and cooks, yet we did not notice.We come to Galveston area every year and this was the first time we have found Captain’s Table...
Best food in Freeport/Surfside hands down. Perfectly cooked Mahi, shrimp & Red snapper. Super welcoming environment with a great view and live music that played all of the best songs. We will 100% be back!
