It was high priced version ($19.00) of some week old leftovers from grandma's house. Beef tips was more like beef stew made with shoe leather that sat in the crock pot 3 days too long. The buffet dishes had old food them. Had to use half of a salt shaker to get some flavor out it and the half the salt shaker to wash the taste out of my mouth. Will never even drive past the place let alone go to again.

Buffet
Without savoring the food, mashed potatoes have no flavor. ?
Had been looking forward to the great food I used to get from their lunch buffet. Evidently, there are new owners or managers because it is dropped in quality to where it is approaching inedible.. The shrimp and fish used to be nice size with tails on shrimp and light batter on fish. Today, the fish was not catfish and it had been coated twice with some kind of batter that resembled a dipped batter that was so heavy, it took away any possibility of tasting the fish and the shrimp were about the same with a dipped batter and just a tiny bit larger than popcorn shrimp with no tail. Clearly, these were not the shrimp that people had come to love.. The cocktail sauce used to be delicious but the red sauce they had out today tasted like some kind of Korean BBQ sauce and definitely NOT your standard cocktail sauce flavored with a bit of horseradish. . I tasted it and it was not edible as a sauce for shrimp. The shrimp and diced tomato salad was a nice addition to the normal iceberg lettuce. The thing that spoke volumes to the drop in quality was the fact that there used to be a long line at lunch and (especially Law Enforcement who eat free) yet today there was no one in line , not even law enforcement. The moral of this story is they need to rethink the changes as it is not working. The buffet is $17.00 at lunch and i will not be back due to the drop in quality as the fish and shrimp of the past are gone and unless brought back, the lunch buffet will not survive.
Good Food, Wednesday all you can eat shrimp and fish.
A great! Its awesome to have a buffet in oyster creek... The fried fish is the best around. They have a salad bar and more it's in the back door.
All you can eat fried shrimp and fish buffet on Wednesdays. I got shrimp with pinto beans, rice, mashed taters & gravy, and a little piece of cake. My buddy said, "I just want shrimp", so they tossed like 3 dozen on his plate! Good stuff Maynard! They'll load ya up with whatever you want, and let ya come back for more.
