This place should be called Talk About Great! It is buffet style and the offerings are all delicious. He has the best fried shrimp, shrimp gumbo, and roast over rice I’ve ever had. He has a lot of variety and multiple vegetables and to die for desserts. And as someone who eats out a lot his prices are way lower than most places! It’s located in Freeport right past Dow and the bridge-to the right! If you haven’t tried this place for lunch do so now, you won’t regret it! The owner Trent Allen knows how to cook and his employees are wonderful! He is open for lunch from 10:45 am to 2:00 pm Monday through Friday and he also caters! Hope to see all of you there as my husband and I eat there a lot!

Best seafood in lake Jackson!
Went for lunch for first time with friends. Counter service was efficient & they offered a wide choice of food. Low rating on food because none of the food was close to being hot & the fried shrimp had a strong smell & iodine taste. Mashed potatoes were lumpy, tasteless & almost cold.

Absolutely delicious. Found this place on accident on vacation, and I was blown away. Everything everyone ordered was way too good. Crawfish Fettucini, Chicken Fried Steak, Gumbo and rice, Grilled Chicken. The beans and mashed potatoes had that special taste that tickles the memory. The highlight was the desert, though. The softest fluffy coconut cake. The carrot cake was insane too.Only problem is you gotta be there for lunch or you'll miss it. And trust me you don't wanna miss this one. I don't review often but this place was a treat and a blessing.

Quick lunch with some coworkers. Cafeteria style serving. Numerous selections. I had a chicken breast covered with shrimp, spinach and a creamy gravy. It was delicious. Couple of the guys had steaks that they said were very good. Lots of options for vegetables/ sides and some dessert options. Really good food at a good price. I’ll definitely return
I can't believe we didn't discover this place sooner! We usually go out for lunch a few times a week and have now made this one of our top choices. The atmosphere is pleasant and the food is excellent - hot and fresh. The portions are pretty big, more than average. I lovethe decor of the whole place. Wearly to avoid the crowds. The price range is definitely reasonable for the amount of food you get. If you're looking for a home-cooked meal, this place is one of the best options out there!

This is an excellent choice if you are visiting on business and want real cajun food. Tex mex isn't everything!
