“Visiting Houston from Alabama. 11-8-24 Looking for a good Daquiri place that served wings I came across this place. Did not disappoint at all!! Tried the long Island with peach and their famous Take Off Daquiris Both were mixed well AND trust me when I say they do use REAL LIQOUR! I had the hot lemon pepper wings with Cajun fries. Both were fresh and hot. I noticed the flat screen TV had game on. Great atmosphere So I will be going back today to watch Alabama vs LSU game tonight before heading back to Bama. Highly recommend this hidden gem“

“Rang Coffee has such a great atmosphere. Sometimes, finding a real coffee shop can be tough because there are so many boba places everywhere.

This café is perfect for relaxing or getting some deep work done. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee fills the space, making it even more inviting. I also really like the type of ice they use.

Today, I ordered a Vietnamese coffee. The beans are well-roasted, but it's not as strong as the ones you'd find at Vietnamese spots in Bellaire or many pho restaurants, where the coffee is often exceptional—better than many trendy cafés.

As for the taste, it's good, but maybe I'm just used to a stronger brew. The sweetness from the condensed milk wasn’t quite there yet. However, the ambiance and cleanliness here are absolutely top-notch!“

“I've been craving an acai bowl and decided to try this as it was close to my boyfriend's workplace and it was hot. The workers were very sweet and helpful in guiding me through the process. Before you go, make sure to download the app so you can earn points towards rewards!

I got the nauti bowl and it was just what I was looking for! I decided on the dinghy size (12oz) which was filling. The nauti is just like your traditional acai bowl but with some nuttiness with the peanut butter. I was worried that the peanut butter would overpower the taste of the acai, but thankfully it did not and instead it complimented the sweetness of the acai and bananas. I also really liked the texture of the cacao nibs which gave it a nice crunch. I'm hoping to try the big island bowl next time.

I also got the sample flight board for boyfriend since we love acai bowls. I decided on the flight so his coworkers wouldn't get jealous (LOL) and they were very happy with the early morning surprise 😊 so go ahead and surprise your loved ones with the flight board too!“

“I stumbled upon this place by "accident" after leaving an eye appt. about a year ago. That day, the daily special was baked chicken, potatoes, and green beans. When I got to my car and opened the lid, it had zucchini instead of green beans. I was a tad bit disappointed as I didn't like zucchini. HOWEVER, I went ahead and tasted theirs since it actually looked really good. OMG!! To my surprise it was AMAZING and perfectly prepared. They are the sole reason I now love zucchini. I learned that it's not that I never liked it, I just didn't like how it was cooked growing up bcz it was always mushy. South Loop Cafe changed my tastebuds on that, and ever since then, I started buying zucchini and preparing it at home.
Even though I've only been here 3 times within a year, they've definitely made a very impactful impression. Each meal was surprisingly yummy, and I love that it's seasoned perfectly bcz I never need to add any salt or pepper.
Each time I've been there, the quality, taste, and service has always been consistently welcoming.
I take it as a sign I need to come at least 3 times a week.“
