Tried Cooper’s Landing - Friendswood for the first time tonight for our Mother’s Day dinner. We did have reservations for our group of six (4 adults and 2 children) for 6:30. I will say that the positive for our experience was our server. He was absolutely fantastic. However, that was where the positives ended. This was our second time visiting Cooper’s Landing in Friendswood. We were previously invited by a group of friends (5 people) on a Friday night. It was upbeat and pretty busy. Cooper's Landing has a nice atmosphere for a date night, brunch with the girls, or a big side room for special private parties. The menu has something for everyone and prices are reasonable. Food is good and well presented, with options like a perfectly grilled steak, juicy and full of flavor, crab cakes, ceviche, caprese appetizer and Greek salad. The service is world class, efficient and friendly; the server and waitress are attentive, sharp and tuned to what guests crave. The welcoming vibe and great environment feel like a real gem, great for families, kids with allergies or a Friday family. Many guests say the place is a great spot to settle in, impress friends and go again.
