I order half spicy and half mild spicy
First of all the spicy ones are not spicy it all.
First time getting tamales from here, we love tamales but this are the worst tamales we have ever eaten.
They are so small.
Will not recommend this place and will not be back .

I’m not even gonna star rating at all ZERO rating. I didn’t even wanna give it an I didn’t even wanna give it a one star, but I had to to be able to post review absolutely disgusting after wating 30 min with only 2 customers in line me being one of them…. These tamales were so dry. He even put them in the steamer for 15 minutes and they came out dry and crumbling and we’re not talking about a little a crumbles we at talking about a lot….absolutely disgusting. I don’t care how long they’ve been there. This was the most nastiest tamales I’ve ever seen in my life or tasted in my life. When I called to tell him about him he didn’t care. He basically told me it’s your problem, not gonna do anything about it. That’s not good customer service for a person that’s supposed to been there for 50 years or however, long which I don’t know how they made it this long some of y’all might have good tamales from there, but these were absolutely disgusting when I gave these to my friendsI all they did was what are these? That’s a crumble up Tamale from hot tamales sorry …nasty wouldn’t waste your money. Wouldn’t waste your time and the Customer Service is absolutely sucks.. He told me it was my problem. You don’t t even wanna know what I want to call him anyway good luck with the tamales you guys. I hope y’all get to good tamales at one time because he screwed me over…

Started going here upwards of 30+ years ago. Tamales were great, I bragged about this place to my friends. Since it's changed hands to the son(s) it's been very disappointing. For whatever reason they're just not the same. I'm hoping it's a 1-off, but they've been dry, crumbly, almost as if they were prepared the previous day and then reheated. I may go back just to give them the benefit of the doubt because I know how good they were... having said that, it's gonna be awhile.

This place is quite busy; the food -tamales- are ok, eatable. The filling -pork or chicken lack flavour and they're small. I have had much better tasty tamales elsewhere.

Just went there to pick up a couple of dozen of tamales for my co-workers and told them how good this place was and it's been around for a long time when they open up the packages I felt embarrassed the tamales were tiny and dry and falling apart I told them that last time I was to get tamales from the tamale truck in Friendswood a couple years back they were big and moist for 15 bucks a dozen id rather go to HEB and get them very disappointed that place was so good it's too bad the original owners weren't still around that will probably be my last time going

Stopped here because well...how could you pass up a truck that says HOT TAMALES!! Not disappointed however the size is on the smaller size about the same as the store bought ones from HEB but flavor was good, mine(spicy pork)not spicy at all. Maybe I've just cooked my tongue with hot food though. My wife liked hers (regular pork) price is a bit steep for the what you get, but what isn't these day?. I'll eat there again if in the area. Check em out!

I don’t know how long you think you’ll be able to keep this up but I know I ain’t coming back. 15.00 bucks for some dry, crumbly tamales that look like they came out of the frozen food section of a grocery store. This place has gone down
