Saruzzo's New York Pizzeria

I am a very loyal Saruzzo’s customer. Their pizza by the slice is so good, I had to be HEAVILY convinced to go to a different place. My heart was broken, and my pizza was sad.

I never liked crust until I came to Saruzzo’s. Their pizza is the best I have ever tasted.

Couldnt even get 2 or 3 slices of pizza, they wanted me to order a whole pizza, but im one person, offered me old pizza

The pizza is amazing as always, however the third party lady who took my order over the phone was completely clueless regarding menu items and what I was allowed to order and put me on hold 5 times throughout the phone call. I ended up spending 15 minutes on the phone just trying to order. I was contacted by someone from the restaurant and basically had to put my order in again because they didn’t have the right info. Service leaves much to be desired.

Second time I’ve ordered pizza when they are 20 to 30 minutes late having my order ready. The staff seemingly gets ruder each time my last time going here. Too many options, where at least they respect your time and respect you as a customer. When I arrive they tell me five more minutes 20 minutes later I’m until five more minutes

So much cross contamination its crazy guys working the cash register,cash,credit cards and then prepare your food with no gloves....

NOT New York pizza...way too much garlic and the crust is not what I was hoping for. and delivery was 20 mins late. Oh well...I'll keep searching for a great pizza in Houston....

We ordered a large Cheese pizza with one topping with pepperoni on the menu board it says $11.99. We got charged $14.54 plus tax $15.74. That is a huge difference did not seem right. Will not return again.

The pizza crust was crunch at edges could have been crisper near the center. Sauce was a good marinara with a spicy herb flavor. Service was a friendly and courteous. Ambiance is a pizza joint. Acceptable and nothing to fancy.
