Came on the weekend and our first experience was decent food was good. They were busy that the details weren’t met

No plates no silver ware. I ended up having to get up and get what I needed every time.

Today I called to pick up food to go.

And I asked if they could do the stir fry noodles for the kids

Or adult stir fry noodles with out the meat. Mind you my
Kids are 2 and 5

They said no.
Unfortunately I’m not going to pay$20 for a kids meal

Working in the restaurant industry and knowing many owners my self.

Not accommodating or plain stir fry noodles is a bit redic.

Such a simple modification to keep guests happy and coming back.

First visit at this location. If you are a serious Pho fanatic, you have to try this place. Broth is flavorful, rich and fragrant. The portions are generous from the perfectly cooked vermicelli to the nicely cut and quality meats. The herbs sever led on the side were of good quality and plentiful. This establishment also has chili oil which isn't as common at Vietnamese restaurants I have been to. As you can see in the picture, the beef short rib is glorious! Tender, flavorful and absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be back. Service was also nicer and more attentive than your usual Asian restaurant.

Very good pho dac biet and artichoke tea. The pho had plenty of tendon and tripes, the tea had plenty of basil seeds, etc. just the way I like it.

This is some of the best Pho we’ve had in the area!
Both me and my boyfriend got the Beef Pho with fatty brisket, the broth was wonderfully flavorful and the vegetables for the Pho were very fresh and fragrant. We also got to enjoy the pork spring rolls which were the best spring rolls I’ve had so far!!
The staff were very sweet and attentive, the establishment was also overall very clean.
Highly recommended!!!

This is TOP TIER broth. I’ve only found a couple (literally 2-3) other places that even come close (shout out Pho Vi-Vi on Spencer and The Pho Spot underground RIP) after trying nearly 100 pho broths in Houston. Deep flavor. A revelatory moment from the second you taste it. Also, huge thanks for making bo luc lac and fried rice with butter by request to avoid seed oils.

I am writing this post because my experience was horrible. I stopped by this place as it was my first time and I was wowed by the amount of people coming and going from this place. This much be a good place to eat with so much traffic. It was Sunday afternoon around 12:12pm when my wife and I stopped by to check this place out. I orders large bowl of Pho and some pork spring rolls. My wife ordered the sandwich and egg rolls. I get my spring rolls, her egg rolls, and her sandwich. We also had water and tea. I must say everything so far tasted excellent. The problem now starts. By 12:20, we get all the food and drinks but the bowl of Pho. We finished all the appetizers and she finished her sandwich. It is now 12:50 and I still have no t received my bowl of Pho. This whole time I am seeing people coming in, sitting down, and ordering food. Their food is coming out before mine. Finally when my wife finished her food, I said that is it lets go. No bowl of Pho and no refills. The excuse they gave me was, "we are busy". I am sorry but that is no excuse when people came in after me and got their food in a timely manner. As I walked up to the counter to pay for what I have and make a complaint, my bowl comes out and they are staring at me like why am I upset and do I not want it. For now, until either they make it right or I decide to try them again, this post will stay as is as a reminder.

EDIT: I went back since so many people told me to try again. The total time from getting out of car to paying was about 35 minutes. The spring rolls had some hard spots on the rice paper and wasn't warm from the pork I ordered. I still stand by the peanut sauce they use is excellent with a small bite of heat. I wish that could be sold as is :D. The soup came out and I noticed the abundance of proteins. For me this is great because some places only give you very few proteins when you choose more than 2. The noodles was cooked al dente and were very good while still cooking in the hot broth. The broth was well, it had a taste, like way to much fennel or cloves and not enough of the sugar taste to balance it out. It was still good though but not something I would do back flips for. I changed the ratings based on my taste and services. Now the real question is, would I eat there again. Well maybe if I was in the neighborhood and wanted Pho. Although there are a couple of places I can choose from in the area and that might be a challenge to pick this place again, but I would come back for that pork spring roll and peanut sauce.

Let me start by saying, Yummy Pho is my families favorite Pho in all of greater Houston. We have enjoyed the Pho at many locations across Sugar land, Houston and Pearland.

This 2 star review is due to the ox tail Pho at the Friendswood location.

The oxtail pieces are small and the meat is very tough. They should remove the ox tail pho from the menu, this is not how to cook ox tail! The ox tail meat should be tender or slightly tender. They seem to boil from frozen, as it is very tough and flavorless!

Growing up close in Houston, I had access to a lot of great Asian food but food on the south side has been mediocre. This is one of the few Vietnamese places that I look forward to eating at that has great food. I highly recommend their pho, BBQ pork spring rolls, and BBQ pork sandwich!
