It's not the same anymore without the Nepalese lady. I don't know if it can be rectified. I'm not going anymore if she's not there. Restaurant should rebrand.

Walking into the restaurant, I was immediately struck by the cozy, inviting atmosphere that promised a delightful dining experience. It did not disappoint. The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the Paneer Butter Masala. The paneer was sumptuously creamy, perfectly spiced, and melted delightfully on the palate. Complementing this dish, the Garlic Butter Roti was exceptionally soft and fresh, each piece pulling apart like clouds, making for the perfect accompaniment to the rich masala. The Rasam soup I started with was a revelation—rich, flavorful, and comforting. It had a depth that can only be described as having “soul,” warming from the inside out, setting a high bar for the rest of the meal, which it consistently met.The service was attentive without being intrusive, adding to the overall excellent experience. Each dish served was a testament to the chef’s prowess and attention to detail. I left not only satisfied but also planning my next visit. For anyone looking for a meal that satisfies the taste buds as much as it does the soul, this is the place you’ve been looking for.Big shout out to new management and the chief Anil Kumar Sagar.

I recently dined at Annapoorna Kitchen , an Indian culinary gem that truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a charming ambiance that set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu boasted a tantalizing array of authentic Indian dishes, each bursting with vibrant flavors and expertly crafted using fresh, high-quality ingredients. From the fragrant biryanis to the rich and creamy curries, every bite was a culinary delight that transported me to the streets of India. What truly set this restaurant apart, however, was the impeccable service. The owner Dhiren Raval went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. From their extensive knowledge of the menu to their attentive and friendly demeanor, they made me feel like a valued guest throughout the entire meal.Overall, my experience at Annapoorna Kitchen was nothing short of extraordinary. If you're craving authentic Indian cuisine served with a side of top-notch service, look no further than this hidden gem. I can't wait to return and indulge in another unforgettable dining adventure.

Went for lunch buffet. Talk about not ever wanting to experience a buffet again. I suspect new owners of the restaurant have never owned one. Someone in the family or friend said, “you cook good food so you should open a restaurant”. ? It was painfully obvious they are not familiar with food safety or how the front of house should be run. I can’t imagine how the back of house is maintained. From watching a table of 5 waiting for their food for 30+ minutes (and still not received their order by the time we left) to folks waiting at the door asking how much longer will it take to watching several people bus one table and picking up the plates and silverware one at a time. The food was horrible and some of the folks eating were filthy. If you’re going to do a buffet, you should post a sign telling people to USE A NEW/CLEAN PLATE each time you refill. A few people were going up and refilling their plates with the same plate every. single. time! Seriously do people not know that if the serving spoon touches YOUR PLATE, you are cross contaminating?!?!?! And STOP EATING while you’re in line. Quit licking your fingers, stop eating in line… can y’all not wait till you sit down???? Is it really that hard to wait to eat till you get to your table??? Is it??? STOP being so gross!! ? The place is filthy and disgusting. Never again and I suggest you do the same. ? ?

I went to this restaurant this week, the food was horrible, Biriyani they served is one of the worst Biriyani I ever ate in my lifetime, my kids did not even wanted to try the food. The cut fruits they kept in the buffet were only a few pieces, the food is worth $0 but they bill $18 plus tax. They don’t have basic ethics to do a food business, I strongly recommend not to choose this place

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Annapoorna , an authentic Indian restaurant that left a lasting impression on me. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that set the stage for a delightful culinary journey. The menu at offers a wide range of traditional Indian and Nepalese dishes, each prepared with careful attention to flavors and presentation. I started my meal with the Paneer chilli, a perfect blend of crispy potatoes and spices were up to the mark. For the main course, I opted for the Palak Paneer and Garlic Naan. The Palak Paneer was rich and creamy, with tender paneer pieces cooked to perfection in a flavorful sauce that had just the right balance of spices. The Garlic Naan was freshly baked and paired perfectly with sabji , adding a delicious garlic-infused touch to the meal. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. The portions were generous, ensuring that every dish was not only delicious but also satisfying.I also admire the owner Dhiren Raval asked me about the food and was ready to take any feedback.Overall, my experience at Annapoorna was nothing short of exceptional. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic taste of India, impeccable service, and a memorable dining experience. I can't wait to return and explore more of their culinary delights

I recently visited Annapurna and was thoroughly impressed . The buffet had a great variety of dishes to choose from, all of which were authentic and tasty. Garlic Butter Naan and Paneer curry was my favourite . They had a couple of Indian desserts (Kheer, gulab jam and fruit custard) in the buffet that were simply divine. Their chilli veg momos are not be missed and were packed with flavours. The owners were also very friendly and warm and attended us amicably. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a truly authentic Indian dining experience.

New management and the new food isn't good. Chicken 65 was tasteless and just tasted like salt. Very lacking in spices. We also received one piece of chicken that was hard and completely burned. Not sure how you can serve that with a straight face. It used to be smothered in some delicious red paste with spices. Butter chicken and tandoori chicken were okay but not as good as it used to be. We had to wait 1 hour for momos dumplings and they only gave it to as after we told them to cancel the order. There was another party who ordered after we did and somehow they got their momos first. It also tasted like regular frozen asian dumplings from a bag. There was no indian flavor in it. They claimed they steamed it but the texture was dry and it was hot. It honestly seemed microwaved and it was insulting they brought that out only after we told them to cancel it. Aloo gobi was watery. At the end I wasn't even angry anymore and was just laughing at the situation because the food was so comically bad. It was as if new management never made food before. But the others in my party were very disappointed and just sad since we were looking forward to the good food they used to serve.

This place is under new management. The food is authentic Indian. Garlic naan is excellent. Buffet has lot of choices in Veg and non-Veg. They add new dishes to the buffet so it is a fresh change. One of the few places in FRISCO /Mckinney which serves lunch buffet.

I had been going to the restaurant for a year and i was a HUGE fan. I took my girlfriend and I there for the lunch buffet today and was taken by surprise. I found out they are under new management and a lot of their food options were different. I was quite skeptical initially but i ended up VERY impressed. They might not have had my favorite items on the buffet but they easily made up for it in the quality of their changed selection. Still my favorite Indian buffet and I recommend it to anyone who already enjoys this cuisine or would like to give it a try.

Went here today but apparently from another review its under new management now? It did seem like it because they were taking extra care with the taste and quality of the food. The food was all very good. I'm not good with remembering the names but the lamb dish, butter chicken and the rice pudding dessert were my favorite. But pretty much every dish was tasty to me. None of the curry were spicy to me which is what I expect from a buffet layout to appease as many people as possible.I'll definitely be back for more.
