This crawfish season, I’m giving my business to Aw Shucks. Their everything seasoning on the crawfish is my jam! I still have a few places to go, but so far, they have the best flavor IMO. The only downside is they have been on the smaller side. The Micheladas have been amazing as well! ?

The oysters look, smell and taste like they came from the Trinity River, absolutely disgusting! The picture of the oysters says it all. This is how you get food poisoning from eating unhealthy seafood!The crab was not freshly steamed because it came out room temperature. They only have plastic utensils. How am I supposed to eat crab without a metal fork?I've never had such horrible seafood anywhere! My wife threw up in the parking lot. There is no way this is fresh, edible or safe. So gross!

I had the catfish and shrimp and since it was Tuesday I got the shrimp cocktail for 5 bucks, normally it's 10. I really enjoyed the shrimp cocktail, it was packed full of shrimp and very good, I was surprised. The fried shrimp was very good, cooked with not to much breading. The catfish was well prepared and hot when it came out ,the only thing I didn't like is the catfish had a slight muddy taste and for me that's huge deal. It wasn't bad though I would go back and eat again.

My husband and I came here because we lived only a few minutes away. We absolutely love seafood! I was impressed by the snow crab because the meat wasn’t salty and it has a sweet taste, the legs were big and cooked just right to where we could crack and pull the meat out easily. The clam chowder has to be one of the best I’ve had. The oysters were fresh and the cocktail sauce was perfect. We also ordered crawfish but I didn’t enjoy it as much as the crawfish seemed overcooked. Also, I recommend that the staff clean after everyone leaves. They were mopping the floor and it left a strong chemical aroma. We noticed the table next to use had brought their babies and I just felt like the staffs can take that into consideration… it killed the vibe.

Either they season shuckbroil different or someone with an improved recipe that cooked today made the shuck broil taste amazing !I’ve been coming here for a year now and had the same dish multiple times however today’s was incredible I’ll remember march 9 ,2024
