I visited this place for the first time. I went there based on the reviews, and the food exceeded my expectations. The service was also very satisfying. If I lived nearby, I would want to visit every week. I highly recommend it to those who haven't been there yet.

Barney’s is a nice establishment. Our service was not so nice. We seen our server once and that was just to take our order; would have been nice to have a refill on our water. My eggs and ham smelled like it was cooked on the same grill with seafood and I could not eat it. The grits were really good though.

This place used to be pretty fantastic. But it recently changed ownership and the new owners are enshittifying it. They couldn't even take credit card payments the other day and told me I had to wait until IT support got there to fix it. Any decent restaurant would have comped the meal. and they seem to have reduced staff significantly. It's not worth the price anymore.

Our experience at Barney’s was made exceptional thanks to Antigone’s outstanding service. From the moment we sat down, she made us feel like family with her warm and inviting personality. She was quick to bring out our drinks and food, ensuring everything arrived promptly and just as we ordered.
What truly stood out was her attentiveness. she checked on us frequently without being intrusive and accommodated every request with a smile. Her professionalism and friendly demeanor created a welcoming atmosphere that made our meal even more enjoyable.

Enjoyed our brunch with fresh squeezed orange juice at the counter. Plenty of options to choose and every single dish ordered is mouth watering and par my expectations, super tasty. Crunchy fresh potato chips, warm bread ,pancake , Philly style stake with runny yellow omlate on top.. every omlate is made of three eggs 😍🥰

We came here on a Sunday, it was very busy! But food was amazing!!! I’m not a breakfast person, but MY GOD, this place has to be the best. I’m from Houston, and have been craving it ever since. I wish they had a location out here. Customer service was awesome! We ordered the chicken benny(must try!!), southwest hash, and 3 pancakes(white chocolate raspberry, peanut butter and bacon, and cinnamon roll i believe they were) along with some mimosas. THEY DID NOT DISSAPPOINT. LOVE THIS PLACE, TRY IT OUT!! Can’t wait to come back to Dallas and have it again.

I have been a loyal customer of this establishment since its opening, frequently bringing family, friends, and coworkers over the years. However, my experience this morning was deeply disappointing and did not reflect the quality and service I once loved.
While the host staff was fine, there was no greeting or warmth, just a basic job done. Our server, despite the restaurant being nearly empty, barely paid attention to us—only coming to take our order and drop off the check. While this was not the worst service I’ve experienced, it certainly did not meet expectations.
The real issue, however, was the food. Everything—and I mean everything—was served cold. When we requested fresh hash browns, they arrived just as cold and appeared old. This was unacceptable. Not only was the meal unpleasant, but we now feel physically unwell and are genuinely hoping we don’t get sick from this experience.
This visit was a shameful reflection of what this establishment used to be. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to restore the quality and service that once made this place great.
