Their expresso machine is always down, and you can’t even call to check if it’s up. If you call you get a message saying the place doesn’t take calls. You have to drive there just for them to tell you it’s down. How are you gonna be a coffee place and your expresso machine is always broken. I’ve never once experienced that at summer moon or even Starbucks. Crazy.

This place is the most convenient from a geographical stand point, but I dislike being forced to have a conversation this early in the morning before I even receive my coffee. I tried rolling up my window after I pay as quickly as possible, but then I just feel rude. Lose/ lose situation for me I guess. So now I just go somewhere else. 7/10 coffee.

We bought an extra large cappuccino and a extra large iced coffee. The cappuccino was only like 3/4 filled, but the espresso shot was very tasty. I have been to other Black Rock coffee bar locations. This one seems to be a little bit lesser in quantity compared to other locations.

I stopped in and waited at the front counter, but no one acknowledged me at all. Staff walked back and forth without a greeting, eye contact, or any indication they would help. After being completely ignored, I decided to leave. Disappointing experience.
Black Rock has quickly became my go-to coffee spot in the area for my morning commute.

I visited for the first time today, the girl at register was as sweet as can be, but one barista stood ON THE COUNTER with her dirty shoes! I don’t know what she was doing or looking for, but she stood fully on the counter and walked on it aimlessly. I couldn’t finish my coffee after that, I was so disgusted, which is sad because I wanted to like the place :-(

I’m a regular at that other popular drive thru coffee place but I think this place is better. I keep it simple and always order an iced vanilla breve with an extra shot of expresso. The other place’s drinks have started to taste watered down and once I tried black rock I could immediately tell the difference. Black Rocks drink was creamier and had a fuller body. The only down side is the drinks at black rock are smaller and a bit pricier, but they are definitely worth giving a try.
