The food is greasy but the service always takes a while even if no one is in the shop. The atmosphere is nice but it’s nothing I haven’t seen before. But the quality of the food is AMAZING. I love there bibimbap bowls!

We used to eat here all the time
The food was actually very good
It was a very good deal when they had the salad bar and soup bar
Unfortunately, after the Covid nonsense they completely eliminated the salad bar and the soup bar and they never brought them back
We have not been back ever since
It’s a real shame
Because of this, I can only rate them one out of five stars
So Sad 👎

Food was amazing staff was nice. We were enjoying our food until a ROACH ran out the kitchen to the drink area and the staff couldn't catch it then finally used a broom to sweep it out. Talk about disgusting and mortified I don't even wanna finish my food!! Which makes me sad bc it was really good😭

A Plea to Burning Rice: Please Remember Where You Came From
We were once loyal regulars at Burning Rice, visiting your very first location almost weekly. Back then, the experience was something special—fresh flavors, a unique concept that lived up to its name, and thoughtful extras like the salad and soup bar that made your meals feel like a complete, satisfying experience.
But somewhere along the road to expansion, something changed.
The heart and soul of what made Burning Rice great seem to have been lost in the pursuit of growth. The food no longer tastes fresh. The signature hot stone bowls—once a highlight with their satisfying sizzle and crispy rice—are now drowned in oil, missing the very element that made them exciting and distinct. To make matters worse, prices have gone up, yet value has gone down. And sadly, the once-beloved salad and soup bar is nowhere to be found.
What made Burning Rice stand out is now gone, replaced by what feels like just another fast-casual chain trying to cut corners while charging more.
We haven’t been back in over six months. And that’s after years of being loyal customers. It’s not out of frustration alone, but of genuine disappointment—and concern. We miss the old Burning Rice. The one that cared. The one that didn’t just serve food but created an experience.
We hope this serves as a wake-up call. Rapid growth is impressive, but not if it sacrifices quality, integrity, and what made your brand beloved in the first place.
Is anyone else feeling the same?

I ordered a bowl with toppings, and literally received no toppings. This was a pick up order.

I’ve been eating here for a couple of year and you can tell the quantity of the bowl has gotten smaller. Now it won’t fill a petite Asian women’s lunch costing $17.

Ordered a BBQ Chicken Bowl via Uber Eats - tasted quite average

Burning rice is a hidden gem in Frisco for sure! It’s like a Korean Bibimbop Chipotle style, where you can customize your bowl with your favorite toppings. I prefer my rice crispy on the bottom, and the stone kept it hot for a while. The service was fast, and there were plenty of seats available. I’ll definitely be back here!

It was so good! Meat was well seasoned and all the side sauces were amazing. My favorite one was the sesame seeds dipping sauce. Also, the japchae noodles and kimchi had great flavor!

They don’t have a person that will speak to you live. I ordered uber and my stuff was wrong and missing item. I tried calling and it was a machine and says we can’t speak to someone there. We have to email? How does this resolve our problems. I am disappointed and won’t be ordering online anymore
We came as a family after a good movie all of us feeling hungry. Moment we came in one of the staff greeted us warmly, as it was our first time eating Korean it made the experience much more enjoyable. As we were leaving one of the staff ran out to us to give my mom her purse she had forgotten inside. Loved the sentiment. The food was really good, and the sauces were delectable. Really clean place will definitely come back.

I liked this place and would be back , loved the bowls . You can creat your own but they have other options . The strawberry milk drink is a must (10/10), the kimchi rice wasn’t my fav , it was super hard and the flavor was off didn’t seem fresh at all . And the pancakes (10/10)
