The self-service kiosk was the only way to order. One of the stations was malfunctioning leaving a line and a long wait to place orders. The dining area is no frills, but has ample seating options that include choices for large groups, couples, and single diners. The orders took a little longer than expected to arrive at our table. The quality and flavor was good. I was disappointed that there was not much in the way of kimchi offerings. Overall this was a good dining experience.

I used to love this place. After Covid though, they no longer have the salad and soup bar, and prices have gone up and you have to pay extra for soup. I also feel like portion sizes have went down, feels like the bowl is mainly rice.

This used to be one of my favorite places to eat. I noticed a change in the taste of the food. I had the Hot Stone bowl which I feel you have to purchase in order for all of your food to be hot. The Miso Soup was unsatisfying and kinda warm I guess. ? They also have taken the wings I used to love to get with my meal off the menu. The prices seem to have gone up as well. Too many negatives for me. It only takes a time or two for me to remove a place from my list to eat.

Just had lunch here, and I'm never coming back. I read the messages from the owner to other reviews saying they've brought back everything that was taken away a few months back. That is a flat out lie. Their full menu is not back. On top of that, they're still using substandard ingredients that are utterly disgusting. Burning Rice is nothing at all like it was this same time last year.

I placed an online order last month that was routed to the wrong location, and I immediately called the Frisco location to cancel or redirect my order but could not get to talk to a human being even after 10+ tries, the answering system did everything to make me fill out an online form and each time when I finally got to the (well hidden) option to talk to a person, it rang a little bit and then disconnected after no one answered. Imagine doing that 10+ times. I finally gave up and used their online feedback system but after more than a month, no one has contacted me much less offered a refund. This is very disappointing and a good way to lose a regular customer. They will probably ignore this review too.

Food was just okay, nothing special. Probably should've gone for the hot stone bowl instead of the cheaper plastic one. The plastic just doesn't give the sizzling taste I expect. Also, the rice was kinda undercooked and too hard for my liking, which was a bummer. The self-ordering system was nice, easy to use with pictures and everything. It’s good value overall.

the food was so good!! dreaming of the next time i can go. food was well seasoned and area was clean :)Dietary restrictions: Since the food was ordered through a kiosk, its incredibly easy to choose exactly what goes in your meal!

What happened to the menu here?! I used to LOVE this place!! Just got an absolutely disgusting bowl with none of their usual toppings or sides! Photos of their good food all over the walls but don’t even offer it anymore. Will not be back.

The food was okay. The service was terrible. It tool a long time to get the food, tables were dirty, messed up the order and took so long to fix it that we left without one of the items that we paid for.

I’m only writing this for those who felt and KNOWN the difference in not only quality but now menu item availability due to new changes. Last time I dined here was around 3 months ago, and even then, I felt as though the food was not hitting the same. This is coming from the MOST loyal enthusiasts, (back when they had stamp cards and would give you a free meal after 10 OG) and We decided to give it another go. Again, as people who order for a family of 4, we engrained the sauces, rice options, topping choice and meat down. We had that in lock, as we would savor and salivate at any chance we had to get burning rice. It was always a delight and a joy to look forward to. However, upon our visit today, we were prompted to just walk right out. Our own choice. Nothing to do with the hardworking staff, to which I show no blame. No conflicts or issues. But to find your FAVORITE place has not only removed rice options, took away most of their sauces and excluded some of their sides, all for what? Paying the same or more price, but not for quality either as they seem to cut on costs or change vendors for meat or ingredients whatever the case is. It’s disappointing. We see this all the time with businesses that start to move more corporate. I’m not sure what the situation is or who’s in charge of all these changes but it’s a mistake. One that will be costly. They shelled out those order kiosks, which took from the experience, sure. But this? I was not expecting at all. At least not so soon. I would’ve known to cherish all those times and memories longer if I would’ve known this would one day happen. That longing taste for what once was promising spicy Bulgogi on kimchi rice mixed in with my toppings of choice and gochujang sauce. Gone. Thank you Burning Rice for the memories, but you no longer are what you once were.

It hurts to write a negative review at a place that used to be one of my top spots. The food used to be spectacular here and had lots of flavor, but since coming back for another visit tonight, I was extremely disappointed in the quality, display, and taste of the food. They now give out plastic wear instead of the normal ones they used to use. Additionally, they don’t have all of the toppings anymore, and overall it’s just not the same. I didn’t even touch my food because it didn’t even look appetizing. Got a full refund on my family and I’s order. There was even plastic in one of the bowls we ordered. Not coming back here unfortunately. Used to be my favorite place.First three photos were taken tonight, last one is previously before taking stuff off the menu.

Menu changed drastically and quality of food also for the worse! No kids bowl option now. Not only that, but plastic to go containers now used for dine in, and the big bowl to small bowl is only .70 cents difference now. The small bowl is HALF the size though.Proteins now disgusting, smaller portions of everything, items completely removed from the options, poor service, and this is supposed to be a bibimbop specialty restaurant? The one thing they're supposed to be great at isn't even close! We've been long time customers and won't be going back to the Frisco or any other locations that have done this. Steer clear and just go to a real Korean restaurant.

I am updating my previous 4-star on the food to 1-star.It's my first visit this year, and it was disappointing, some items are no longer available, as the LA Galbi, fish flakes, suaces, etc. The rice was changed to long grain rice. There are better, and more authentic Korean food restaurants in the area, this was was convenient when nearby running errands, seems I won't be coming here anymore.

I would come here 2-3 times a month. My first time in the new year I learned they removed the LA Galbi and gim flakes which would be my regular meal every time I would eat here. The white rice is different too, not sticky. Disappointed. Definitely not coming back. If they have new management, bring the old ones back.
