Calabarpot restaurant, made my easter the very best! I mean I always wanted this Nigerian taste here in Texas, and now I have a got-o location for it, really glad.

Whilst in Frisco on holiday a friend recommended Calabar pot, waoo, we’re glad we visited. The food was very tasty and well seasoned from the prawns, the pepper soup, Afang and Nsala.
It became our hang out spot authentic African delicacy until we left Frisco.

I will definitely visit again as the service was good and the ambience was friendly and clean.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Calabar Pot Fresco, and it was a truly delightful experience. The location itself is charming—perfect for a romantic date—with a relaxed yet inviting atmosphere.

The service was excellent from start to finish. The staff were warm, attentive, and friendly, making the entire visit feel comfortable and well-cared for. The restaurant was also very clean, which added to the overall pleasant vibe.

As for the food—absolutely delicious! I tried the Edikang Ikong, Egusi, and Nsala soups with pounded yam, and each one was packed with rich, authentic flavor. The Jollof rice was also a standout—perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.

If you’re looking for a spot that delivers both in flavor and experience, Calabar Pot Fresco is definitely worth a visit.

Jollof rice and goat meat cost almost $40. That's a little too pricey as compared to the quality of the food. The quality doesn't match the price.

I recently ordered a meal from this restaurant and was extremely disappointed with the experience. I ordered two different soups (okra and fisherman soup) but they gave me the same soup with different proteins. To make matters worse, the soup had an overpowering crayfish taste that was simply unbearable. I and my guest couldn't even finish our meal. I was really looking forward to trying this place, but unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. I hope they improve their menu and quality in the future.

The white soup and other soup are full of pepper, pls moderate pepper input in the food. The white soup also has no taste. Only the Afang soup is good.

I really enjoyed the meals served here. They are really tasty and the portions are large. We had an issue when we were accidentally given the wrong order. The manager was very apologetic and arranged for the correct one to be prepared while we allowed to keep the existing one. Not the cheapest please but you are assured that you would be getting quality food from here.

Visited Calabar Pot for the first time and decided to try edikaikong—my first time having this dish. It was absolutely delicious! I'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu.

1. Food is very expensive - not worth the quality/quantity
2. Ambience is very mediocre
3. Took very long for order to be served
4. Fried rice, Jollof rice no quality at all! Too much oil, salty, meat just so freaking hard to eat!

Overall - not worth visiting this place again!
