Last Friday, I decided to treat myself with a meatball sub from Capriotti's in Frisco. So I went to their app and ordered a 6" half meatball sub and picked it up. When I got home, I unwrapped it and discovered a 6" roll, some sauce, a slice of cheese (which was not melted as it is in the picture in the app), and ONE MEATBALL. Just one. In the center of the roll. Are you kidding me? There was plenty of room for another. I paid $13 (including tax and tip) for ONE MEATBALL!!!

As a grilled cheese sandwich aficionado, I was excited to try out Capriotti's Sandwich Shop. However, my experience left me utterly disappointed. Let me break it down: Location: You do not have a location known as Grilled Cheese Ecstatic which has the same address as Capriotti's so this review is for Capriottis. Food Quality: The sandwiches ($42) I ordered was a sad excuse for comfort food. The bread badly toasted, and the cheese was barely melted. It felt like I was biting into a cardboard box with a slice of rubber inside. I couldn't even taste the supposed "premium" ingredients they boasted about. It was a culinary catastrophe. Packaging: To add insult to injury, the packaging was equally abysmal. The sandwich was haphazardly thrown into a flimsy paper wrap, which promptly disintegrated under the weight of its lackluster contents. By the time it was delivered, half of my sandwich had leaked out onto the wraps. Not only was it a mess, but it also felt like a waste of money and resources. Overall Experience: In summary, my interaction with Capriotti's Sandwich Shop was a regrettable mistake. The sanwiches, has now become synonymous with disappointment. I guess i will stick to Schlotzkys.Save yourself the disappointment and steer clear of this establishment unless you enjoy culinary letdowns and soggy sandwiches. Grilled cheese enthusiasts beware: Capriotti's will crush your cheesy dreams. All food thrown in trash wasted my $42

Overcharging for mediocre food. “A half” is actually a quarter, or child’s portion. “Half” is a marketing ploy. Even subway has a half as 6 inches. The slices are counted out like half rations. Maybe that is how they come up with the description “half”. The word “Italian” is a disappointment. Four people and they were all distracted from dealing with customers. Won’t be back.

I've ordered takeout directly from the website multiple times with no issue, and considering it's a longer drive I appreciate having that option, but my food never arrived today. When I called the number provided in my confirmation email I was told there is no delivery option and that I couldn't get it delivered again or get a refund without having my info sent to corporate. It was a sizable order with online fees and a tip, and when we decided to drive over anyway, we were denied service. I won't be ordering again. Please don't bother if you don't want your money stolen :cEdit: We have been met with a lot of negative pushback from employees and management, even a screenshot of this review being sent back to my roommate. I wrote this after we were refused service. It all feels very retalitory for simply wanting a refund or remake of our food. Also being told we were likely to be scammers when we have ordered multiple times, again with no issue. Hoping for a civil solution.

Today we had food there.. we paid 67$ for 4 sandwiches that barely had any meat ! Food was flavorless .. the fries were good but we did not pay that much to mainly eat fries ! For the price they charge per sandwich the sandwich should be rich in ingredients and flavor!

The person taking our order barely spoke english, which is kinda important when trying to order food. And to add to it, she didn't know what was included in a combo or not or perhaps just couldn'tunderstand our questions. She called for assistance, but he didn't speak english either. To add to it, the kitchen was noticeably dirty. We just left and went somewhere else. Will not be back.

5 stars is max you can give and I feel they deserve more. Always great service and food is top tier. Mom is vegan so hard to find food options for her. Capriotti’s accommodates to everyone. If you’re near frisco/little elm definitely stop by.

The service is inefficient and very slow. I was hopeful that my 3rd visit would be met with a professionally run business but not the case. This is the last visit - back to Jersey mikes or even subway…

Really pricey for average sandwich food. Won't return as I think Jersey mikes gives you twice as much for the same price.
