Chaat N Dosa - Frisco TX - Pure Vegetarian and Vegan Restaurant

We ordered paav bhaaji and samosa chat. The taste was okay... The bhaaji of paav bhaaji was a paste. Not mashed but ground to a paste. Samosa chaat had elaichi.The restaurant was fairly empty. the staff hadn't cleaned the tables that were used by other patrons before us. We had to point it out before grabbing a seat. Floor seemed sticky.

Not all items are available all the time. Some snacks, like Mirchi Bajji, are only available in the evening time.Though spacious and looks good for dining in, they are making sure it doesn't appeal that way. And the tables aren't cleaned/services well. Felt like they want to do more take out and catering than serve at the restaurant.Onion Samosa is really good, didn't taste like store bought. Good curry inside and well done. Filter coffee is about average, diluted and bland.Food is great ??. Curries are tasteful. The difference between South and North Indian Thali are a single curry and desert. That was funny.Overall, I think this is a good place for catering and good food vegetarian food.

Vegetarian options: All vegetarian menu makes it a whole lot of choices.

We tried several dishes which were all good but the Paneer Butter Dosa was so amazing! My kids are not big fans of dosa in general but they loved this one! The chai was also better than most places and the service was good and fast. We will make this our new Sunday brunch place for sure!

An awesome vegetarian restaurant in Frisco. They have a wide range of menu options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We tried all the options and the food was super tasty. The service is also great and staff very friendly. We have our parents living with us, and the options like ragi dosa and chaat works out great. Overall, we just love it. Restaurants with good food and good service like these need to be supported. One of our friends also ordered catering from them, and all guests were going gaga about the food. Highly recommend them.

Vegetarian options: Their entire menu is vegetarian!

Restaurant should be called "Chaat N Dosa*sometimes" . We were excited to try the dosa but we were told that dosas are only available at certain times of the day. We were hungry so we settled for the other items on the menu. The food was tasty so we left happy. Hopefully, they will have full menu all day.

Been in the Frisco area less than a year and a half and have been checking out Indian restaurants in the area. Found this restaurant by accident when we were going to a different one nearby. Have been there at least 6 times since. What we like:- chai - it is the best around and we have tried multiple places in Frisco and Plano- dosa, pongal, upma- papri chaat- food prepared fresh daily- serviceNot so good- bhel puri- samosasthese are the dishes we have tried.Prices are also very reasonable, especially Mon - Thur lunch combos

Extremely disappointed. Enjoyed their food at a party and decided to try themFor BRUNCH this morning. After waiting for 40 minutes we were served, Rawa Masala Dosa without masala ( potatoes) , masala dosa without masala ( potatoes) . They don’t even serve dosas with sambhar … there is a pot full of sambhar , we didn’t know and ordered sambhar . Turns out there is a big difference in the sambhar that is complimentary and sambhar u order.Will not recommend anyone to go there , utter waste of time and money .No customer service, had to ask them 3-4 times for food , if your focus is catering dont open the doors for dine inPS : owners response is just for the google reviewersi contacted them on email , its been more than a month and there has been no response ...... so unprofessional

Decent dinner spot. Dosa and South Indian food are good. Chat items with yogurt are bad. We tried twice and their yogurt is consistently very sour.

Went here with some coworkers and kids on Saturday at opening time, they joined a bunch of tables upon our request. They were patient about waiting while our non-Indian friends figured out what to eat, food arrived in 15-20 minutes, everything tasted good.Then the person who took our orders showed up with small cups of mango lassis for all of the kids in the group and said it was complementary, we thought that was really sweet of them

Only very few tiffin like idli (may be dosa as well) is good. Chats taste worst..Don't dare to try chole batura..

I wish I could give 0 stars to this place. We went on Labor day evening and ordered Dahi puri and Papdi chaat. The place was super nasty. No clean tables and even the chairs had food on them. At front I had to wait 5 mins just to order since there was nobody to attend us. I thought at least food will be good. Tasteless and less portions. Dahi puri had no tamarind chutney or dahi for that matter. Papdi chaat also no dahi at all so dry that we threw most of it. We all had stomach issues after that, I was so grossed out. I called yesterday to address the issue but was given owners number and after calling it like 3 times he answered and said will call back but no answer. Please don't be fooled by the decent reviews on here I am sure they are bought. Save your money and go somewhere else!

be prepared to arrive hungry and leave hungry. they have reduced their serving sizes. you can order 2 quantities of certain dishes and still not be full....seems understaffed. cashier seems overwhelmed. wont be dining here again

I am glad to visit Chaat N Dosa in Frisco. The best part is, it opens early than other restaurants. So one can enjoy hot , mouthwatering breakfast or brunch early with your friends and family.The place is clean, especially the washrooms.The food is hot, yummy and service is really quick.This is the place I would like to come back again and again. ??

Not sure what they add in the food. I felt sick after having their food.It happened twice. First time I did not notice that it was because of their food. But Yesterday again Me, my husband and my kids felt sick again after having their food.I did not wanted to give bad review until now…when all of us are vomiting and we all have bad stomach ache.Not sure if it was their dosa, masala potatos, chutneys, sambhar, chat or punugulu. (⚠️This review is not after having their food for the first time. I went to chat and dosa house several times and multiple times told them that potatoes are stale, sambhar tasted weird, sometimes chutneys taste bad.)*Note To The Owner:I have noticed that you ask people to contact you who give you bad review. Instead of doing that please fix the quality of your food. No one wants to get sick after having paid food. Your food taste is good but please fix the quality.I really hope that you do something about the bad quality of your food.Thank you!
