I ordered Chicken 65, which was served cold icy cold . When I politely requested that the server warm the food, he declined, stating that he couldn’t do so. As if he offered the food for free.

I highly appreciate the order update announcements which saves a ton of time for customers avoiding the continuous checks at counter and saves time to relax during order is getting prepped. Some items are amazing, but at times some appetizers are served cold and soggy, especially your CFC, tried 3 times out of my 10 visits in past 6months. I was always depressed. How come a special and unique item of the restaurant is served in such a way that none ever re-order it.
Second time I’ve actually called them explaining the situation but I was expecting food when I want it and reliably consistent in taste.
Hope this is a constructive feedback to business, thanks!

Restaurantji Recommends
I’ve been a regular customer here and always enjoyed the food along with the Irani chai. However, the recent change to a new cup for the Irani chai doesn’t seem like a good idea. I preferred the smaller cup, as it was just the right amount. Now, with only the medium option available — and no lid to save the rest — it’s become inconvenient. It feels disappointing, as it gives the impression that the goal is to make more money rather than focus on customer satisfaction. I’ve honestly lost interest in visiting because of this change. I strongly recommend bringing back the previous small cups.

The worst tea you get around. They increased the prices and reducing the cup size. I go only to hangout with friends.

Once Brahmana gaaru said, “Irani chai in Indian restaurants in America is just 100 ml of condensed milk and five spoons of sugar.”
I never really liked this place from the start, mostly because they’ve been playing price games since forever. Every few months—boom, a new price list. It’s like watching inflation live in action, only with chai instead of gas prices.
We used to stop by almost every day for tea and snacks. It was simple, affordable, and fun. Now? The “two-dollar large cup” is 60% of what it used to be, and the one-dollar tea has mysteriously disappeared. Maybe it evaporated, maybe it was “strategically discontinued.” Either way, it’s gone.
And hygiene? Let’s just say the sparkle outside doesn’t match what’s happening behind the counter. The inside gives “Bollywood-set after a dust storm” energy—definitely not what you expect for these prices.
It’s sad, really. Chorasta could’ve stayed that friendly hangout spot everyone loved. Instead, it feels like a case study in how to lose loyal customers, one overpriced cup at a time. But hey, they’ll probably drown this review under a pile of five-star “best chai ever!!” posts from some consulting-company review farm. That’s fine—real customers know the difference.

We ordered karampodi chicken, it smells like fish. Looks like They fried chicken in used oil( which was used to fry fish).

To be honest, I think we can make meme based out of their tea price.
