Never a dull moment here, the food has always been top notch and you will always leave full. Make sure you try that boom boom sauce, it's an all time favorite
Absolutely love this place, everything i have tried was amazing. I'm a big cheese head so I had to try their queso
Chuy’s Mexican — 4 Stars
Let’s get this straight right up front: I’m from Texas, so I firmly believe Tex-Mex is the only kind of Mexican food worth eating. And Chuy’s? Yep, it falls squarely in that camp.
My wife and I dropped in for a casual bar visit—just a drink and a snack—and left happy. Chips and salsa arrived quickly (a must), the service was sharp, and while the atmosphere leans a little kitschy and budget-friendly, it works for what Chuy’s is going for.
The beer? No taps, but they dressed our bottles with lime and salt in glasses, so we could pretend we were getting the draft experience. Honestly, that extra touch made it land just right.
The food was solid, though not quite top-tier when stacked against the heavy hitters in the Dallas Tex-Mex scene. That’s why it’s a four-star spot for me—but don’t get me wrong, that’s still a strong recommendation. We’d go back without hesitation. Chuy’s knows what it is, and it delivers.
Bring the bacon wrapped shrimp back. It's the only thing I liked!
Jorge was really kind and patient with my odd requests. He brought us creamy jalapeño to take home, and offered us extra to go drinks. Jorge definitely made my friend’s first Chuy’s experience a good one!
We stopped in while in Dallas. Thus was our first time visiting thus location. Probably won't return to this one. The tortillas were hard. The server didn't check on the table, We had to get another waitress if we needed anything.
The drinks were very good!!!

More towards the Tex-Mex style, they do offer a couple of authentic Mexican flavors such as green and red chile salsa. The food was outstanding as was the service. I had requested for the salsa to be placed on the side, which they made a mistake of and put it all across the top, but quickly rectify the problem and were very apologetic. Mel (server) as I said was very attentive can actually carry the conversation with us towards the end of the meal

Chuy’s catered our wedding, and it was AMAZING! As longtime fans, we knew we wanted our favorite restaurant to be part of our big day, and they did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious, and all our guests loved it! A huge thank you to Cristina Trevino, who made the planning process such a breeze – her expertise and support were invaluable, and she ensured everything went smoothly. Chuy’s truly helped make our wedding perfect. Highly recommend them for any event or just a bite to eat – they never miss!
