We were in the area and looking for a low key place to dine. I'd been to the Craftway Kitchen in Plano and remembered the onion soup which is my husband's favorite! We both ordered the onion soup! My husband squawked at the price but said it was worth every penny. It was the best I've had anywhere. We both got the Fish and Chips. Delicious. The dish was very fresh tasting and flaky. It was a little greasy which is why I gave food 4 stars. It IS fried though and I knew to expect some oil. The oil tasted fresh, no hint of rancidness or mixed flavors. Colton was our waiter and kelt the Stella coming. He walked up to check if I needed another beer and before I got yes out of my mouth, another waitress handed him my Stella and a glass. I asked how he did that! Colton comped us a blackberry cobbler. We were already full but managed to enjoy every bite of that delectable dessert. My only real critique is the one I have of all restaurants. I'm a senior and don't eat as much as I used to. I wish restaurants had senior portions available similar to a kids menu. CK didn't have a kids menu though. CK isn't exactly a bar but it does have a homey laidback feel that I enjoyed very much. Would not expect a kids menu here. It occurred to me that we had reservations but we were immediately seated so I didn't think to tell them. Probably the only booth available was reserved and probably meant for us. We sat at a four top by the bar. It was quiet enough for us to talk. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. We will definitely be back.

This is a fabulous place to go. The food was so good, I had the French onion soup and the ribs. I had to eat the ribs with a fork as the meat was so tender, it fell off the bone. My husband had the pastrami sandwich and he loved it, it had a smoky taste and it was definitely homemade pastrami. The staff was polite and efficient and so friendly. I 💯 recommend this for a nice evening out

I can’t say enough for how amazing my wife and I’s experience was here. First of all, the food is great and my steak in general did NOT need steak sauce, it’s fantastic. However, when we asked for steak sauce out of preference, they were out. Bummer right? WRONG! Their GM Ray physically left the store and went to the grocer nearby to grab a bottle of steak sauce and came right back with it. There’s just a quality of service that Ray and his wait staff Paige bring to the place that sets the tone. The takeaway here is that it’s the little things that go the longest way in a competitive restaurant atmosphere, and locations like Craftway get that. We will most definitely be back, and would highly recommend the place.

Not sure what is going on with the French Dip sandwich. On three separate occasions I ordered this sandwich and all three times were disappointing. The meat in the sandwich is inconsistent. It was full of fat and half of it lukewarm while the other half was cold to the touch as if it was just removed from the refrigerator. Same goes for the au jus. Inconsistent in flavor, color, and temperature. The second time I had this sandwich the au jus looked like dishwater. A translucent beige color and had absolutely zero flavor. Our service on our last visit for a party of five was excellent. The server did a fabulous job and she was very personable. But as for the quality of this entree... it needs to go back to the drawing board. It needs to be totally reengineered. It's a terrible french dip sandwich that doesn't do this restaurant justice.

Nice ambience and friendly staff with tasty brunch food and affordable cocktails (we enjoyed the tacos and the Grand Marnier french toast - with a Bloody Mary). The bacon was yummy for me, but a little spicy for others (so I had extra helpings). It was a great first experience - so we will return.

This is 100% my new favorite restaurant! Every single item I tried (which was a lot lol) was absolutely phenomenal. The server Maddy is absolutely an angel I can’t wait to come back.

This was our very first visit to Frisco, and WOW—what an amazing choice of restaurants! The food is absolutely incredible (the chicken and fig sandwich is a must-try!), but the real star of our visit was the service. Seriously… ask for Reneé! She completely made our experience. She’s unbelievably friendly, so helpful, and just radiates great energy. We’ll definitely be back!
