A Five-Star Find in Frisco!
We visited Taverna Crudo for the first time last Saturday evening, and it certainly won't be our last. From the moment we sat down, we knew we were in for a treat.
We kicked off the night with a couple of glasses of Oberon Cabernet—a perfect, smooth start to the meal. For the main course, I went with the Pappardelle Bolognese. The combination of ground ribeye and pancetta in that herb sauce was incredibly rich and flavorful. It’s easily one of the best Bolognese dishes I’ve had in a long time.
My girlfriend ordered the evening special: Sea Bass served with Lobster Risotto. She is still raving about it! The fish was cooked to perfection, and the risotto was decadent and packed with lobster.
We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the cozy bistro atmosphere. If you’re looking for high-end Italian flavors in Frisco, this is the spot. We can’t wait to come back!

This place is amazing. We have thought about going here may times and had not. I am bummed we waited so long. First the owner Ari is amazing. So kind and warm and sincere. His staff was wonderful. For the hostess (I think Carly) to our waitress Connie. The sea bass on lobster risotto was wonderful and the blueberry bread pudding was outstanding. And I usually do not like cooked fruit. The blueberries were not overdone in number and were subtle. The ambience and vide were great. Loved our experience from beginning to end. We will become more regulars here. The menu looks like it has a lot of things we will want to try. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The most impressed I have been with a restaurant and experience in a long time.
When Crudo first opened years ago it was amazing. It had gone down hill with each ownership change. The atmosphere is horrible. It is so loud you can’t even order your food without screaming at the waiter. The tables are crammed it and you feel like you are sitting on top of the people next and in the middle of the highway with staff zipping by. The food is so overpriced for what you receive. I ordered the seabass with lobster risotto - the smallest piece of fish ever was sitting in soup and covered with another sauce. That was not rissotto it was so liquidy and all vegetables with no lobster and very little risotto. The manager came to our table because he could tell I was not happy and I showed it and told him my complaints about the food and atmosphere and he did nothing even though he said he was going to d something. It had been a year since we had been there and I wish we had not given it another chance. We will not be going back. Save your money and don’t go.

We've dined here several times, including a few NYE meals. Love the Sea Bass and Limoncello!!! We enjoyed ourselves and my brother-in-law came for his first time. Keep doing what you do best!
Crudo is lovely inside; very nicely decorated. They bring a nice slice of pizza crust with a lovely cheese, olive oil, and olives to the table when you arrive. They have a full bar and nice wine list. The food was excellent! I have been a long time fan of Ari and his former restaurants. Despite being a little drive from my house, I will definitely return.
We LOVED it here! Had a special birthday dinner and they did not disappoint. From the moment we stepped inside, it had an upscale yet personal vibe. Every dish was excellent and the hand crafted cocktails were spot on. Wish I had snapped a few pics of the place but you can see the dishes were plentiful. Do yourself a favor and stop by for a visit.

We recently visited this restaurant and were genuinely impressed from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, cozy and perfect for enjoying a relaxed meal with family or friends.
Their firewood-fired pizza was the absolute highlight — truly exceptional. The crust had that perfect smoky flavor you can only get from a real wood-burning oven, with just the right balance of crisp and chew. The toppings were fresh, rich, and generously layered, making every bite unforgettable.
While the pizza alone is worth the visit, the rest of the menu is equally impressive. Every dish we tried was flavorful, well-prepared, and made with obvious care and quality ingredients. It’s rare to find a place where everything tastes this good.
The service was exceptional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.
Overall, this restaurant is a true gem, one of our hot spots.
Amazing firewood pizza, great food across the board, and excellent service — highly recommended. We will definitely be returning!

We just love going here for lunch! They make amazing flatbreads, which are delicious and generous. The owner/manager (I presume) remembers our favorite orders and brings our drinks as soon as we sit down. The service is impeccable, the atmosphere is cozy, they use tablecloths on the tables, and the bathrooms are sparkling clean. We will continue to return for the best flatbreads in town!

Food and service were amazing! Love the pears and strawberries in the spinach salad and our entrees were so yummy.
This place is amazing. The staff were very personable. The owner Ari was so nice and made sure everything was perfect. The food and atmosphere was great and i had such a great time. If you haven't been here since new management, you should give it another shot. We will definitely be back.
